The morning was starting off normal, but how long would that last? Who knows. I got dressed in my school uniform, which I honestly thought was hideous. I grabbed my school bag and walked downstairs to the dinning room where my mother and father sat. I sat down across from mother, but beside father. One of the maids set my breakfast plate in front of me.
"Thank you." I say to her as she bows and scurries off into the kitchen again. I turn back to my plate and begin eating.
"So darling have you thought about who you would like to marry?" asks mother. My father is friends with a few powerful people with big businesses, so I was going to marry into one of the families. I had a choice in the matter, so did the sons of father's partners. If there was an agreement then we could call it a deal, but if not then we'd move onto the next son who wanted my hand.
"Well if you want my opinion you should choose the youngest Ootori boy." says father. Father and Kyoya's father have been friends since they were teenagers so I practically grew up with Kyoya. We've been friends for a long time and I honestly have had a crush on him for a while, I just don't know if he'd return the same feelings as me.
"Now, now don't go making her choices for her dear."
"I wasn't I was letting her know where I stand on the matter." says father. Another maid comes in and bows to father. She hands him a letter with the Ootori mark on it, then stands to the side. Father opens the letter and reads to himself.
"What does it say dear?" asks mother.
"Kyoya has said he would like your hand in marriage (Y/N). He wants us to come for dinner on Thursday if you accept his hand." says father. My mind was completely blown away. Kyoya my best friend, my crush, wants to marry me. I look down at my lap trying to hide my blushing face.
"Darling what do you say?" asks mother.
"I... I accept Kyoya's hand. Let the Ootori's know we will be seeing them Thursday." I say. "I should get going. I don't want to be late for school." I say grabbing my bag and sped walking out of the dinning room. I had stopped blushing once I had gotten to the limo.
~Time Skip~
The last bell rang signaling it was time for clubs to start. I don't have a club that I go to everyday, so I stay after to study in the one of libraries. As I walked toward the library I heard my friend Masumi call my name. I stop and turn to see her running my way. Her long black hair bouncing behind her, her deep brown eyes sparkling brightly. I knew what she was going to ask and I didn't like it.
"Hey (Y/N) why don't you come to the Host Club with me today?" she asks smiling at me.
"You know how I feel about giving someone I don't know my attention. Not to mention my money." I say the last part quietly.
"Oh please! Please come with me (Y/N)!" she begs. I just stare at her. She sighs. "I didn't want it to come to this, but... here it goes." she says. She looks at me with her best puppy-dog eyes. She knows I can't say no to those eyes. I felt my heart hurting while looking into her eyes. I tried so hard to stand by what I said, but it was difficult. Then she made a little whimpering noise which finally broke me.
"Oh okay fine, but only this once. You know I don't like crowds."
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she cheered. She grabbed my wrist and dragged me to an abandoned music room. I guess this is were they hold the club at. Masumi opens the doors and rose petals flew in our direction. I saw girls surrounding several boys from different classes. I saw the Hitachiin twins Hikaru and Kaoru, Takashi and Mitsukuni, Tamaki, Haruhi (which I can tell is a girl by the way) and lastly Kyoya Ootori. My new fiancé. "What do you think? Great right?"
"I don't know how I feel about this Masumi. I think I want to go back to my studying." I say wanting to leave, but she grabs my arm before I could make a break for it.
"Come on." she pleads.
"Hello princess. You're new to the Host Club aren't you?" asks Tamaki. I can feel my face pale at how close he was. He took my hand and kissed it. He gave off a weird vibe for some reason.
"Uh... please don't call me princess, but uh... yeah I guess I am new to the Host Club." I say nervously. Out of the corner of my eyes I could see Kyoya smirking and writing something down in a black note book.
"Oh Tamaki this is my friend (Y/N). She's just here to see what the Host Club is like." says Masumi. I could almost see the hearts in her eyes. She talks about the Host Club all the time, that's why I know the other six names. Well other than Kyoya.
"Well aren't you a doll for bringing her here?" he says to Masumi getting close enough to almost kiss her, but she fainted from excitement. He then looks back at me. "Well is there anyone imparticular you would like to request a seat with?"
"I think that would be me Tamaki." comes Kyoya's voice. He stood beside me, making me flustered.
"Why is that Kyoya senpai?" asks Haruhi.
"Well she's my fiancé of course." he says taking my hand in his making me blush. I try to hide my face from him, but he grabs my chin gently and makes me look at him. He leans in close. Our noses almost touching. He smirks. "I've loved you for a while (Y/N)."
"I... I love you too Kyoya." I say barely in a whisper. He leans in the rest of the way connecting our lips. It felt as if it were only him and I in the room. Sparks flew around us. I knew I had made the right choice. He pulled away and locked eyes with me. I smiled at him.
"Eeep~! My ship has sailed!" Masumi fangirled making Kyoya and I look at her. She giggled and held onto Tamaki's arm. I roll my eyes at her.
