Fairy Tail. It's my home, it's where my friends and family are. I had grown up here, as did many of the others did. Though I have grown closer to Natsu and Gray. Other than Erza, I'm the only one who can stop the two from fighting.
Speaking of those two idiots, they like to flirt with me as of recently. They are always trying to win me over. Only thing is I don't know who to choose. I don't want to hurt either one of their feelings.
"Yo (Y/N)!" came Natsu's voice bringing me out of my thoughts. Him and Gray stood in front of my table with their arms crossed.
"We need you to chose already. We're tired of fighting over the same thing everyday." says Gray.
"Yeah. This has gone on long enough." says Natsu agreeing with Gray for once. I sigh and thought about the times I've had with both of them.
~Flashbacks~
Natsu had fallen asleep on the floor of the guild. I asked Gray to help me out with a prank for Natsu. I sat him up against the bar. I had Gray freeze Natsu from the waist down to look like a mermaid while I put bows in his hair.
Once we were done we sat down and talked for a while. It took for what felt like hours for Natsu to wake up. When he did he melted the ice and pulled out the bows. Natsu stomped his way over to Gray and I. Everyone in the guild laughed at his reaction.
"You think this is funny ice princess?" he asked.
"What did you say ash breath?" asked Gray while standing up and facing Natsu. Of course a fight broke out between the two.
Natsu and I had made a bet for a fight. Whoever lost had to buy the winner lunch. I accepted thinking I could bet him. In the end my (M/T) magic wasn't strong enough or it was that Natsu had gone overboard... like usual. Anyways, I had took Natsu into town and bought lunch for us and Happy.
"Awe, aren't you two a cute couple?" asked the waitress making me blush.
"Uh... you've got the wrong idea. We're just friends." I say. She apologizes and takes our order.
I sat at the bar by myself. Most of the others were out working jobs. I held a small glass in my hand watching the condensation roll down and fall onto the countertop. I sigh making Mira look at me while cleaning another glass.
"Something wrong (Y/N)?" she asks. I look up at her.
"It's about Natsu and Gray. They keep fighting over me. I know one day I'll have to choose, but I'm not sure who to choose." I say sitting the glass down. Mira places her glass on a shelf then stood in front of me.
"Well what is your heart tell you?"
"My heart?" I ask more for myself.
"Mhm." she hums. "What's it telling you?" I look don at the countertop and place my hand over my heart. "Alright... let's try it this way. What do you feel when I say... Natsu?" I blush and butterflies fill my stomach.
"Well... I have butterflies in my stomach and I can't stop thinking about him."
"Okay, what about when I say... Gray?" My heart began racing and my blush darkens.
"My heart races in my chest and again I can't stop thinking about him."
"Oh dear. You have it bad."
"Have what?"
"Love, silly." she giggles. The guild doors open and Team Natsu walks in. Natsu in immediately by my side and talking, but I zone out. Thinking about who to choose.
"Leave her alone you pink pyro, can't you see she's not listening to a word you're saying?"
"You want to go you streakier?" yells Natsu. Ice and fire get thrown in every direction, along with a table or two. I sigh and stand up.
"Thanks for the talk Mira. I'm gonna head home."
"Any time (Y/N)." she says with a smile. I walk out of the guild hall and walk down the street heading to my apartment. As I walked it started snowing, I look up at the night sky. I was kinda hoping there would be a sign of some sort to help me choose, but there was no such luck.
~End of flashbacks~
"Hey (Y/N) are you listening?" asks Natsu.
"Sorry I was thinking. Actually I've been thinking about this a lot. I've made my decision." I say.
~Natsu ending~
"And? Who did you chose?" asks Natsu.
"Actually, I chose you Natsu." I say then turn to Gray. "I hope this doesn't affect our friendship." he looked kinda hurt, but kept a straight face.
"It won't." he says.
"Ha! Told you she wouldn't chose you ice perv." laughed Natsu. Gray just walked away. Natsu sat beside of me and put his arms around me. He kisses my cheek causing me to blush.
~Gray ending~
"And? Who did you chose?" asks Natsu.
"Gray." I say. Natsu's face fell while Gray's gained a smirk. "Natsu don't take it personally. It's just, Gray and I have more in common. I hope this doesn't affect our friendship."
"I... totally understand. And we will always be friends. Though I don't understand why you chose the ice perv." says Natsu.
"What!" yells Gray. Natsu chuckles and runs away. Gray growls, but kisses my cheek then runs after Natsu. I sigh and shake my head while rolling my eyes.
"Boys." I say under my breath.
