A/N: Sorry this one took so long, but I was trying to figure out how I wanted to do this one. Hope you like it.
It has been two weeks since I found out that Shoto had been cheating on me. I have been staying with my sister since. Shoto has tried to text me and call me, but I have ignored anything I received from him. I didn't want anything to do with him.
I stayed after in my classroom after the kids left to grade some of their papers. I had lost my concentration and had stared at one paper for about five minutes. I set my elbows on my desk and held my head in my hands in frustration. I still hadn't gotten over what Shoto had done. Part of me wanted to run back to him while the other part wanted nothing to do with him. My phone dinged signifying that someone texted me. I picked it up and looked at the text.
Shoto: Please (Y/N). I want to explain what happened. Please... hear me out and if you still don't want anything to do with me then I'll leave you alone. Just hear what I have to say. Please.
I read the message a couple more times. Debating on if I should meet up with him or not. I sigh. The least I could do is let him explain his actions. Most guys wouldn't even have a reason. Shoto has been very persistent though.
Me: Fine. I'll hear you out. Where and when do you want to meet?
Shoto: Thank you (Y/N). How about tomorrow at the park? 6:00 P.M.?
Me: I'll be there.
I put my phone down and go back to grading papers.
I had gotten dressed in warm clothes since it had gotten pretty cold out. I walked out of my sister's house and made my way to the park. I had gotten there a bit early so I sat down on a bench. I sighed and looked at the ground. What was I doing here? Why do I care what he has to say?
"You came." I turn my head and saw Shoto.
"Yeah." I breathed out. He sat down beside me. "Look you probably won't believe me, but that woman had a type of mind control quirk. Like Hitoshi Shinsou. Her quirk made who ever she talked to feel whatever way she wanted them to about her. So she made me feel like I loved her." He turned more towards me and took my hands in his. "I still love you and only you."

I looked at his face, his eyes. He looked me straight in the eyes, he even had some tears built up. My heart filled with warmth. I could tell he wasn't lying. I had always been able to tell if he was lying because of how bad he was at it. I felt my own eyes well up with tears. I cupped his face.
"Oh Shoto. I'm so sorry. I should've let her explain sooner." I say letting the tears fall on my cold cheeks. He gently wiped my tears away.
"It's not your fault (Y/N). I know how it looked, but I'm just glad you let me explain." he says.
"So you forgive me?"
"There's nothing to forgive. The real question is will you be my girlfriend again (Y/N)?"
"Of course Shoto." I say throwing my arms around him. He pulls me into a gentle yet passionate kiss.

I sat there looking at him as if he thought I was stupid. I had know that woman since we were in kindergarten. She didn't have a quirk at all. He had lied through his teeth. I stand up and turn to him.
"How stupid do you think I am Shoto?" I ask crossing my arms.
"What?"
"Did you forget that I went to kindergarten with that woman? She hated me since the third grade when I was picked for class rep." I say.
"Please believe me (Y/N) she had some kind of mind control over me." he says standing up too.
"Shoto. She's quirkess! She wasn't born with a quirk! I know it for a fact! You're just a lying cheater!" I yell. I stop and breath. "Don't text me or call me anymore Shoto. Just... leave me alone. I told you once we started dating... I don't tolerate cheaters." I say turning and walking away with tears building up, but I wasn't about to let him see them.
