Once everyone knew that I was pregnant... they were shocked at first then they were excited. At the time Alzack and Bisca were the only ones married and had a kid. The girls, mainly Mira, wanted to throw a baby shower for Gajeel and I. Now Gajeel and I are engaged and plan to marry, but we plan to get married after the baby is born.
"Hurry up shrimp." says Gajeel.
"Give me a minute. I'm pregnant." I say trying to put my shoes on, but it was difficult. He sighed and walked over to me. He knelt down and helped me put my shoes on. "Thank you."
"We're gonna be late to our own baby shower." he says.
"Eh, it'll be okay. They'll understand." I say as we head out of the door. Once we reached the guildhall I took a seat at the bar where Mira was.
"There you two are I was beginning to think that you two were gonna call off the baby shower." she says smiling.
"No it just took me a bit to get ready." I say.
"She couldn't even put her own shoes on." says Gajeel.
"Okay now that everyone is here we can get started." says Lisanna. Lisanna told Gajeel to start the line for the finger food.
"You stay here and I'll get you a plate." he tells me.
"I can get my..."
"Stay put." he says. Lucy walks over and smiles.
"He cares for you a lot." she says.
"I know."
"So have you guys thought of baby names?" asked Ezra walking over.
"Well he said if it was a boy he wanted to name him (B/N) and if it's a girl I want to name her (G/N)." I say.
"Awe those are cute names!" says Mira. Gajeel walks back over with our plates.
"Thanks babe." I say.
"You're welcome." he says. Once everyone is done eating little Asuka hopped over to Gajeel and I.
"Mommy and Daddy says that you're having a baby!" She says smiling.
"Yes I am Asuka." I say.
"Are you having a boy or a girl?" she asks.
"We don't know until he or she is born." says Gajeel.
"So you're gonna let bullet face raise a kid?" asked Natsu.
"What did you say!?" yells Gajeel.
"You heard me." says Natsu getting in Gajeel's face.
"Oh no." I say face-palming. Natsu and Gajeel start fighting. A chair comes flying my way, but an ice wall stops it from hitting me. "Thanks Gray."
"No problem." he says. Natsu and Gajeel knock Erza's cake out of her hands, not good. A dark aura appears around her as she stands from her seat. She appears behind the two of them and hits both of them on the head.
"The two of you ruined my... uh... are ruining the baby shower." she says.
"Sorry." they say rubbing their heads where Erza hit them.
"Time to open the gifts." says Gramps.
Once Gajeel and I were home and all the baby stuff was put into the baby room. Gajeel and I were sitting on the couch together. And Lily was asleep in my lap. Gajeel had his arm around my shoulder as I was reading a book. As I was reading I felt the baby kicking.
"Gajeel."
"Hm?"
"The baby just kicked."
"What?" he asks. I grab his hand and place it on my belly. The baby started kicking again, kicking his hand. "Hey there little one." he says. The baby moves more making me giggle.
"I think he or she is gonna be a daddy's baby." I say making him look up at me. He kisses me sweetly.
"I love you."
"I love you to you big lug." I say. I look down at Lily who was still sleeping. This was a perfect picture of how I wanted my life to be. I wouldn't change this for the world.
"If you two are gonna do those things try and do them when I'm not in the room with you." says Lily as he rubs the sleep from his eye. I giggle and Gajeel chuckles.
