I ran down the corridors, my bare feet slapping against the floor. I searched looking for him. I knew he was back, he had to be. Chaos ran amuck. King Faust brought out the Doroma Anim to try and finalize his plan to bring more magic to Edolas. I could hear all the fighting going on from inside the palace.
I saw two figures standing in my way so I skidded to a stop in front of them. Once in the light I saw it was a beat up Sugarboy and Hughes. I took a step back and was about to run the opposite way, but I stood my ground. No one made a move, but Hughes gained a smirk and crossed his arms.
"Still believe that the Prince will come back for you?" he asks.
"He's here. I know it. I feel it... in here." I say placing my hand over my heart. "Now out of my way." I say waving my hand to the side.
"Hm. Someone gain some courage now. Did they?" asks Sugarboy. I couldn't waste anymore time. I ran and pushed past Sugarboy and Hughes and ran to the one place I know he would be. The place where the King would control the Anima. I ran until I found the door to the room. I stopped and hid behind the door since I heard talking.
"This is the room... that projects the Anima. Prince... What are you..." says the first voice.
"I've spent a lot of time watching Earth-land. It has problems, but it's a world with many bounties. I'm sure it'll make a fine receptacle." Says the Prince. Jellal what are you planning?
"Y-You don't mean... But that's just irrational!!!" says the other voice again.
"The only thing that will stamp out this world's wars... is to create a world where people can look at each other in the eye. I'm going to reverse the Anima. And wipe all magic off of the face of this world!" says Jellal. I quietly sigh. I thought it would be worse than that. This world can live without magic. I was in my own thoughts I missed some of the conversation.
"The people of Edolas are in chaos. There aren't many who can adapt quickly to a changing world. That is why they need a new ruler... A new King for a new world!!!" says Jellal. Is he going to take the throne?
"I get it. So you're..."
"No... Not me. It can't be me. I haven't traveled the same road as this world. I don't have the right. The people need a villain and a hero to bring them together." he says. If not Jellal for King then... who? I gasp to myself.
"A villain and a hero?" Jellal please. I think to myself as tears begin to brim in my eyes. Please don't do what I think you're planning.
"You must punish me for destroying the world... and take your place as King." I couldn't take it anymore I ran into the room and to Jellal hugging him. Tears streamed down my face as I begged him to change his mind.
"Please don't do this Jellal! Please!" I begged as I held him close.
"(Y/N)?" he asks in shock. I loosen my grip enough to look up at him.
"You just got back! You can't leave me again! You may be one person to the world, but to me you are the world! I love you!" I plead. All he did was pull me into a tight hug.
"(Y/n). I-I thought something bad had happened to you." I grabbed the back of his cloak in my hand hoping he wouldn't leave me again. Jellal and I looked each other in the eye. "(Y/N) I have missed you."
"Don't leave again Jellal. Please. My heart can't take that pain again. I love you so much."
"I love you too (Y/N)." I stand on my tip toes to connect our lips in a kiss. He was in shock at first, but kissed back. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Once we broke the kiss he placed his forehead against mine as we smiled at each other.
