I sat in class beside Senri and Rima as the teacher droned on about poems. Don't get me wrong, I love poems just as much as the next guy. I just hate relearning the stuff I already know. I had my note book that I wrote my personal poems in sitting out on my desk open to a clean page. I grabbed my pencil and began writing about the first thing that came to mind, which happened to be about my friends.
Rima, Senri and I have bee friends we were in diapers, Takuma and I have been friends since we were three, the others I met later on. I still consider them my friends, but I' closer to Senri, Rima and Takuma. Senri taps my shoulder, making me look at him. He points to the teacher, I look up to see that the teacher looks irritated.
"Ms. (L/N) would you care to share what you've been working on during my lesson?" he asked. I smirk slightly.
"I don't mind." I say knowing that it would irritate him more.
"Then would you come up to the front and read it?" he asked trying to make me rethink my remark. I grab my notebook and walk up to the front of the class. I turn and face the rest of my classmates.
"Well this is one I wrote about my friends."
"Interesting."
"I wanted to thank you, but was unable to explain what it means to have a friend to share life's joys and life's pains, it's good to know our friendship is one of endless devotion forged out of respect and every kind of emotion, it's patient and forgiving never failing or forsaking when a hand is outstretched or one's heart is breaking it's ever faithful even when the world condemns sparkles in the darkness like fireworks and gems it does my heart good at the end of the day to know that you will never be more than an email away." I read aloud. I looked up and the class clapped. I looked at the teacher and he seemed kind of shocked.
"I must say I did not expect that from you. Good job. You may take your seat again." he says. I smirk knowing I had won this one. I walked back to my seat and waited for class to end.
~Time Skip~
Everyone sat in the living room talking. I sat in the corner of the couch between Senri and Rima while writing another poem that I've been working on for a while. It was about nature, I had gotten writers block with it. Know though I knew what I wanted to do with it.
"(Y/N) what are you writing now?" asked Takuma.
"A poem about nature." I say.
"Can we hear it?" asked Rima.
"Sure. The serenity of nature so quite, the sound of the enchanting tide, the pictorial view takes your breath away, the scenic beauty of the bay, the beauty of nature is a captivating sight, looking at it you can forget your entire plight." I read.
"Wow. You really have a way with words when it come to poems." says Hanabusa.
"Well my though are stars I cannot fathom into constellations." I say.
"You gotta stop doing that." says Senri. I look at him.
"What?"
"Saying things that make me wanna kiss you." he says causing me to blush. I've had a crush on Senri for a while now, but I never said anything because I didn't know if he felt the same. Now that he said that I feel a bit more confident in what I'm about to say next.
"You hand no idea how many times I've wondered what it would be like to kiss you." I say still blushing. Senri smirks, he leans in and connects our lips. I don't hesitate to kiss back.
"About time." says Rima and Takuma in unison. Senri and I break the kiss.
"Will you be...?" started Senri.
"Yes."
"Do you know what I was even going to ask you?"
"You were going to ask me to be your girlfriend. My answer is yes."
"Good." he says putting his arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer to him.
