Chapter 13

"You know what would be awesome?" Lucifer asks randomly as all the Novaks and Sam are gathered around the kitchen table eating pizza for dinner that night. "If Castiel live streamed today so we could watch it live live."

"You just want to be in it, don't you?" Castiel guesses.

"Maybe," Lucifer admits. "But you should do it. Like, right now. Or after dinner, whatever."

"Sure, why not?" Castiel agrees with a shrug. "You guys are welcome to join me," he adds, extending the invitation to everyone.

"I'm in!" Gabriel announces immediately. "I want a bigger audience watching me annoy Castiel!"

Castiel rolls his eyes, but wears an amused smile. "Because I'm sure everyone wants to watch you annoy me for however long my live stream is," he replies sarcastically.

"They'll watch it just cuz you're there," Gabriel reminds him.

"That's probably true, actually," Castiel agrees. "In fact, I bet I could live stream an actual stream and there's be, like, fifty people that watch the entire thing just cuz it's my live stream."

"You have so much power," Samandriel laughs.

"But with great power comes great responsibility," Lucifer adds.

"Thank you, master Yoda," Castiel says sarcastically.

"Not Yoda, it is," Lucifer says. "But welcome, you are."

Castiel just laughs. If there's one thing Lucifer's good at, it's being an idiot in the best way possible.

Going FB live rn, Castiel tweets out quickly before starting the live stream on his laptop. He sits back, far enough away that Lucifer, Gabriel, Samandriel, and Anna can all be seen. Michael disappeared somewhere, Chuck decided against joining, and Sam went to the junkyard to see Bobby, so this is the remaining crowd here for the live stream.

"Hey, guys!" Castiel greets the camera, watching as Facebook tells him people are joking already. "So, I'm back home for the week —"

"Technically, your home is in New York," Samandriel reminds him.

"Home is where the heart is," Lucifer replies. "He just loves us so much that he considers this home."

"In that case, I apparently live at an ice cream parlor," Castiel replies. "Ice cream is my true love. Sorry, guys." Of course, he's not supposed to be eating ice cream, but technicalities.

"Not cool, bro. Not cool," Gabriel replies.

"Pizza is way better anyway," Anna adds.

"You did not just say that!" Lucifer practically yells.

"It's just a fact," Anna tells him.

"Ice cream is the best! Pizza doesn't even come close!"

"You make it sound like I just insulted the Bee Movie or something," she laughs.

"You insult the Bee Movie and it will be the last thing you ever do," Lucifer replies.

"And on that note," Castiel interrupts, "this is my whacked out family. Lucifer, Gabriel, Samandriel, and Anna," he gestures to each of them as he says their names. "Michael just sorta disappeared somewhere, so he's not here, but we'll make due without him."
