A/N you know what's awkward is that they were just on Pirates of the Caribbean a few chapters ago and it's already an inaccurate description of the ride because I forgot they were changing parts of it whoops

A/N pt 2: it occurs to me that idk if I'll be able to watch spn tonight because I'm at Disney and my family is ignoring literally everything I say so what I want to do is irrelevant but they also won't let me go off on my own so whether or not I'll be back at the resort by 8:00 is entirely up to my family ahhhh panicking halp okay have a book

The next ride they hit is another one they FastPassed — Space Mountain. Again.

Needless to say, Castiel is not going to ride this one again, and Sam and Dean decide against it as well, so they don't get decapitated. It's Adam who decides to stay and keep his youngest half brother company, while Castiel and Dean ride the People Mover, which just circles around this section of the park. Lucifer finally gets to dump Alex on Sam and Adam so he can ride the ride, which is nice for him, assuming he doesn't get a limb chopped off.

There's no line for the People Mover, which doesn't seem surprising, because it's not a very intense ride. Within two minutes of leaving the Space Mountain area, they're already in their cart and starting the ride.

"So," Dean says, "Enjoying Disney now?"

Castiel shrugs. "I mean, it's not bad, I guess."

Dean scoffs. "'Not bad'?"

Castiel just shrugs. "I'm just not really into amusement parks. Rides aren't really thing."

Dean nods slowly, thinking of a way to hype it up. "Well, I mean, this isn't just as amusement park. It's Disney World. There's more than just rides here. What do you want to do?"

Castiel thinks about that for a few moments before finally saying, "I don't know. Nothing here is really that interesting. I mean, I wouldn't mind getting pictures with some of the characters, but I feel like that's kinda weird for two adult guys to do."

"Gotta hate those gosh darn gender stereotypes," Dean says mockingly.

"No, but like, actually, though," Castiel says. "They suck. I should be able to meet Tinkerbelle if I want to. Wait, can you meet Olaf here? I want to meet Olaf!"

"At Hollywood Studios, yeah," Dean replies. "But we aren't going there until tomorrow — is it tomorrow? — and when we do, I sure as hell am not going to meet Olaf with you."

"Why?" Castiel whines.

"Because I don't want to meet a talking snowman," Dean says as if its obvious. "He doesn't even talk to you. Pretty much none of the characters do. It's lame."

"But it's Olaf!" Castiel insists. "Who cares if he talks to you? He's still Olaf, and he deserves some respect!"

"Yeah, not happening."

Castiel crosses his arms. "Wow, Dean. You're such a disappointment."

Dean shrugs. "It's not the first time I've heard that, and it won't be the last."

"To be fair, I'm sure you deserved it every time," Castiel says teasingly.

"Yeah, probably," Dean admits.

Dean puts an arm around the boy, and Castiel slides closer to him, so he can rest his head on his boyfriend's shoulder.

"Can we watch the fireworks tonight?" Castiel asks.

"Doubt it," Dean says. "It's not really fireworks. It's a castle show where they do stuff to the castle, so you have to get there well over an hour early to save a place to watch."
