"You ready to meet Misha?" Castiel asks later that day.

"I don't know," Dean replies. "Who's this Misha, anyway?"

"You'll see."

He opens the hotel room door slowly, and instantly, Misha is there, tail wagging excitedly. Castiel squeezes his way inside, muttering a quick warning to his boyfriend about not letting the dog out. With Castiel to distract Misha by petting him, Dean makes it inside much easier.

Castiel crouches down with the dog, smiling to himself at his pet's excitement. Misha flops on the floor and lies on his side so Castiel can pet his stomach, which he does without hesitation. He's pretty much figured out what the dog wants most of the time.

"You have a dog?" Dean says in surprise.

"I do," Castiel replies. "But no one but my immediate family, Sam, Adam, and Balthazar know about him, and I'd like to keep it that way." Well, obviously Amelia knows, but while the two chat quite a bit — definitely enough to be called friends — he doesn't feel like she's worth mentioning to someone who doesn't know her.

"Noted."

Castiel glances over at him, still petting the dog because otherwise he'll start whining. Dean stands against the wall, eyeing Misha with what seems like mistrust. Castiel looks back at the dog, and it takes him a moment to realize not everyone is used to all the still healing wounds. He probably looks really creepy to those who don't already know and love him.

"He doesn't bite," Castiel assures him.

"Does he even have teeth to bite with?"

"'Course he does," Castiel replies. "I mean, he's missing a few and they're kinda dull from chewing on rocks, but yeah, he has teeth." He lifts the dog's lips up so it looks like he's smiling, showing Dean his teeth.

"I'm just waiting for him to kill you for that."

Castiel rolls his eyes. "He's not going to kill me for it. He doesn't mind."

"If you say so," Dean replies, but he's obviously not convinced.

"I know my doggy, Dean."

Dean scoffs. "Right. What are you, the dog whisperer?"

Castiel leans down towards his dog and puts his mouth near his ear. "Yes. Whisper whisper. Whisper. Whisper whisper whisper."

Dean laughs. "You're such a dork," he says with an amused smile.

"Yeah, but you love it."

"I do. I really do."

It's a few hours later, and Dean and Castiel are playing Monopoly, as they have been going on three hours now. Misha is lying on the floor next to Castiel's chair, looking bored. Dean slams his hand on the table in frustration, and Castiel just smirks.

"Can I just buy Park Palace from you?" Dean asks desperately, handing his rent over. "I literally land there every single time."

"Nope. I'm not giving my hotels up." Castiel smiles sweetly, and Dean just pouts. "Ooh, hold on."

Castiel pulls his vibrating phone out and checks the caller ID, expecting it to be someone he can just ignore. He's pleasantly surprised to see it's Jody Mills calling. He holds up a finger to Dean, silently telling him to wait a minute.

"Hey, Jody," Castiel greets her over the phone. He's finally getting out of that "It's Castiel" habit of his.

"Hey, Castiel. Just want to make sure we're still on for next week."

"Wait, that's next week?" Castiel says in mild surprise. He doesn't really care exactly when it is, but he thought he still had an extra week. It's nice that she always calls to check before announcing it to the world, though, or he might have forgotten entirely.

"You sound very organized," she says sarcastically.

"I know, right?"

"And another thing real quick. I don't know how to contact Lucifer because he doesn't have a business email, but I figure you can probably reach him. Can you ask if he'd like to come on the show? You could give him my number too if you don't want to keep being the messenger."

"I can ask, but I doubt it," Castiel replies. "I think this is more of a fun thing for him. I don't think he really cares about, like, seeing fans. I don't even know if he really understands that he has fans. I think he just kinda wants it to be a small-scale 'I'm-just-chilling-with-my-family' thing."

"Well, hey, if he wants to chill with family, you two could always come on together."

Castiel grins. "That'd be awesome. I'll ask him, and probably beg him if he says no, and maybe he'll come."

"Great. So, I'll see you soon."

"Yep, bye." Castiel hangs up, then looks at Dean excitedly. "Jody wants to see if Lucifer will come on the show with me next week!"

"Do you think he will?" Dean asks.

"I don't plan on giving him a choice."

Dean laughs. "Of course you don't. Call him now. I want to be first to know if this is happening."

Castiel quickly calls Lucifer, who picks up on nearly the last ring.

"You're missing a killer game of Twister right now!" is the first thing Lucifer says to him.

"Well I'm demolishing Dean in Monopoly right now, so I think I'm winning here," Castiel replies.

"Wait, Dean?" Lucifer repeats. "You're with Dean? What? How long have you been back together and why didn't you tell me?"

"Since last night and I figured you'd be on Twitter because it's trending right now," Castiel replies. "No, but I actually had a reason to call. So Jody wants to know if 'Literal Satan' would like to be on her show soon."

There's a pause on the other end, in which Castiel can hear faint laughing, presumably from the rest of the Twister party. Finally, Lucifer says, "Is there a polite way to say no to that?"

"I could tell her myself," Castiel suggests. "Or, a better idea, you could come with me next week and we could be on the show together."

There's another pause, then Lucifer says hesitantly, "You know I love you and all, so don't take this personally, but I don't really think that's my type of thing."

"Why not?"

"I don't know. I guess because I'm not really a celebrity like you are. I'm just a guy who walks around with a camera who happens to have connections."

"No way. You're, like, an actual stand up comedian. You're legit the funniest person I know. You totally deserve to be on Jody's."

"I'm still thinking no," Lucifer replies. "Sorry."

"Okay, what if I asked you to?" Castiel proposes. "I'm getting kind of sick of doing this type of thing alone. I could totally use the company." He doesn't get a response at first, so he adds, "Please, Luci?"

Lucifer sighs. "Fine, but only if you bring Misha, because I love that little doggy."

"Deal," Castiel replies with a grin.

"I'm gonna get back to Twister because I feel kinda left out right now so you go beat Dean in Monopoly and don't break up again or I'll kill you both. 'Kay, bye!"

Castiel chuckles and slips his phone in his jacket pocket. "Lucifer said yes."

"I don't know if one show can handle two Novaks," Dean jokes. "Too much awesome for one person."

"I have a feeling Luce will steal the show and it'll be like I'm not there anyway, so we won't have to worry about that."

"No way," Dean says confidently. "He's cool, but you're Cas. Everyone's gonna love you. And if they don't, I still will, no matter what."

Castiel can't help but smile. He really lucked out with Dean, and there no way he's letting himself forget it.
