"Play something country!" Lucifer says excitedly.

"But, like, I don't do country," Castiel reminds him. "I'm a pop singer, remember?"

"I don't care. Country! Country! Country!" he chants, pumping one of his fists with each syllable while the other hand holds his camera.

"He doesn't even listen to country," Dean tells him. "It's not like he just knows a country song off the top of his head."

"Well..." Castiel says awkwardly.

"Oh god, don't tell me you're a closet country fan," Dean mutters.

"Um..."

"Yes, join the country side, Castiel," Lucifer says with an evil laugh. "Join us!"

"Don't you dare," Dean adds.

"Okay, but, like, I'm kinda already on the country side," Castiel tells him. "I think I've been listening to country longer than rock, actually."

"And you never thought to mention this?"

"No?" Castiel says uncertainly. "I mean, it's not really a big deal. It's not like I've ever claimed to be exclusively a rock fan."

"Maybe not, but you never said that you liked..." Dean fake gags. "Country."

"This is totally the juiciest gossip there is," Lucifer tells them.

"And now you have it on video," Castiel adds. "You're going to be famous for this."

"The guy who revealed Castiel Novak is actually a forty-year-old woman," Dean adds teasingly.

"Hey, no hating on the forty-year-old women," Castiel reprimands him.

"I think it's cool that Castiel is repping an underrated group of people in the pop industry," Lucifer adds, holding the hand that doesn't have a camera in it out for a high five, which he never receives.

"Aren't you a country fan, too?" Castiel recalls.

"Yes, but I'm known for being a weirdo. It's my thing. I defy stereotypes. You, on the other hand, embrace stereotypes."

"Okay, that's offensive," Castiel tells him.

"But true," Lucifer adds in a sing-songy voice.

"You are kinda a stereotypical pop star," Dean tells his boyfriend.

"I'm — wow, guys," Castiel pouts. "Thanks. Really."

"But what isn't stereotypical of pop stars is singing country music," Lucifer adds. "Wink wink nudge nudge."

Castiel sighs. "Fine, I'll give you a country song."

"Yes!" Lucifer says excitedly. "Do it!"

"I'm totally fibbing these chords, but whatever."

He sings the entirety of Blake Shelton's "Mine Would Be You," and Lucifer fangirls while holding his camera surprisingly steady.

"Are you happy now?" he asks his brother.

"That was even better than the original," Lucifer tells him. "You. Are. Awesome."

"I know," Castiel replies with a playful smile. "It's a gift."

Lucifer: Tweeted youuuuu

Castiel doesn't bother asking why Lucifer had to text him when he's literally just upstairs, instead just going to Twitter to find the tweet. Unsurprisingly, it's the first one on Lucifer's profile after his pinned tweet. It's been up for five minutes now, and already showered with likes and retweets.
