Dean and Castiel are hanging out at the Novak house because this is a Destiel fan fiction and there's literally been five chapters with Dean since chapter 11. This is the least shippy ship fic in the history of ship fics ever. Anyway, back to the Destiel...

Dean strums at the guitar, as he's been doing for the last half hour they've been together. It's nice, having something to listen to during pauses in the conversation, as infrequent as they are.

"Are you releasing a new album soon?" Dean asks him. "Don't you do it every year?"

Castiel nods. "Mm, yeah. End of June. I think I'm starting my tour in August."

"When are you coming to Massachusetts?" Dean asks him.

Castiel shrugs. "No clue. October, maybe? November? I think it's one of the last stops. Actually... Hold on."

Castiel pulls out his phone and opens his calendar app. He doesn't have all the tour dates in here yet, but he does have the important ones. The first one, in Lawrence, Kansas; his hometown, Sioux Falls; near Aunt Amara, in Maryland; near Stanford, in California; and the last one. Maybe the last one is... Yep. Massachusetts.

"November nineteenth," Castiel announces. "Last tour stop."

"I'll be there," Dean assures him. "Can I get early tickets? I want front and center. Ooh, and backstage passes! Can I? Can I?" he asks like a Lucifer — err, like a child.

Castiel chuckles. "Sure, Dean. I'll make sure you get tickets front and center."
"And backstage passes?"

"Or you can just come see me after because I know you?" Castiel suggests.

"Backstage. Passes."

Castiel rolls his eyes. "Sure, I'll get you a backstage pass, too."

"Yes!" Dean cheers. "The perks of being Castiel Novak's boyfriend are freaking awesome."

Castiel chuckles. "You know, those perks include just being able to walk backstage. My family does it every year."

"But that's not the same," Dean replies. "You don't get the full experience without the backstage pass."

Castiel rolls his eyes, an amused smile on his lips. "Sure, Dean. Sure."

"And here you'll find a Castiel during mating season," Lucifer says as though narrating a nature documentary. Again. Because he's Lucifer. The author sighs. Why did she make Lucifer so weird?

He steps into view, once again holding Castiel's phone. Okay, he really needs to change the password on that. This is the second time today he's done this.

"Fuck off, Lucifer," Dean says, though he doesn't snap at the boy and he's clearly at least a little amused. "I'm scoring myself some backstage passes."

"To what?" Lucifer asks. "Castiel isn't on tour right now. Unless... Castiel, are you going on tour?" He practically screams the last part from excitement.

"Eventually, yeah," Castiel replies. "But I haven't released an album in almost a year, so I'm not going on tour now."

Lucifer frowns. "But I like stalking you at your concerts!"

"And I like watching you scream my lyrics at the top of your lungs from onstage," Castiel replies with a playful grin.

"Well of course I do," Lucifer replies as though it's obvious, which it kind of is because it's a concert. And Lucifer. "Because Michael would yell at me for screaming them in the house."

Castiel chuckles. "You're scared of Michael?"

Lucifer pauses, then nods. "Yeah, I think so. I mean, he knows everything about the human body and medical research and stuff. He could kill me like that." He snaps his fingers for emphasis on how quickly Michael could kill him.
