A while after Nadia and her mother had left, everyone was exhausted. Alexis was helping Paige remove the glass pieces on her and she also cleaned up her wounds. Lisa was with James helping him out with his wounds. Conner and Erin were seated down near her.

"That was really scary," Conner commented.

Erin's face cringed after hearing him say that. He stood up and faced him." This is all you fault," he said coldly.

Conner stood up and looked at him." Yeah it's my fault that we saved many lives today," he said out sarcastically.

"Dude Paige almost died because of you," he said before pushing him." Your stupid Eastern escape route plan almost killed her."

"Erin," Paige said out his name as if she wanted to explain to him why they had to do that. Conner just raised his hand to her. Paige then remained silent. Erin pushed Conner again. This time he stumbled and fell on his back.

"If she had died," Erin whispered whilst clenching his hand into a fist.

James then ran up to him and pulled him away from him as Blake helped Conner up.

"Erin!" Paige rebuked.

Erin then loosened James hold on him and started walking away. Conner started walking away in the other direction. James followed Conner. Blake was about to follow Erin but Paige stopped him." Blake don't go. I'll go talk with him." Blake didn't disagree. Paige started running toward Erin. She finally caught up with him. She tried to talk with him but he wouldn't respond. Paige decided to walk with him until he felt like talking. Erin led Paige far to the back of a building that was a bit far from the others. He then stopped and looked at her.

"I'm sorry for the way I reacted," he said with a smile.

Paige was stunned. How can it be that one minute he's angry like he was about to blow a fuse? Now he was calm and smiling." Erin what's wrong?" she asked looking concerned." A minute ago you were extremely angry. Now you're acting all calm."

"Paige I'm fine. I just overreacted. That's all."

"Erin please talk to me. I want to help you but you don't want to communicate. You could have hurt Conner back there. You looked like you were going to let your anger get the best of you. Erin I know this life is frustrating but please don't let the circumstances turn you into something you're not."

Erin started scratching his head." Do you know that Conner loves you?"

Paige sighed." Yes." Erin started to make frantic movements." Erin look at me. Are you okay?" Paige asked her face full of concern.

"Do you love him?" Erin asked with a look on his face that Paige didn't recognize.

"Yes," she whispered," but I love you as well."

"I guess if he was out of the picture your heart would be mine completely," he whispered more to himself but she heard.

"Erin what are you saying?"

"I'm saying can you make yourself fall out of loving him?"

"Erin you're scaring me. What are you saying?" she said taking a step back.

Erin scratched his head vigorously." So you can't even fall out of loving him. I should have killed him last night." Paige gasped. She wanted to run but Erin took a hold of her. He placed a hand on her mouth. Tears started running down her cheeks." Shhhh. Paige I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't want to become this person but I had to. You of all people should understand. No," he said before looking at her with dangerous eyes," you're just like my dad. You're slowing me down. I had to take their lives Paige. Mr Chandler and my dad weren't being quick about reaching the gate. I wanted to survive you know. I had to survive." Paige cried even more." After killing them I felt bad and I stayed to grieve them. Does that make me a bad person Paige?" Paige just looked petrified. Erin started to look sad." No don't cry. Paige don't cry. It's me. I'm still me, Erin the boy you loved. I need you to stay with me," he looked down," but you will slow me down. I won't survive with you plus you love him. Good bye Paige. I loved you the most." Just then he placed both of his hands on her neck. Paige felt herself choke. Her feet could only kick the ground as she fought for air. Paige's eyes began to feel heavy. Paige then noticed his grip on her loosen. Lexi had stabbed his back. Erin just shouted out in pain as he made his way toward her. Paige then fell to the ground. With her eyes still open she could see Erin try to attack Alexis. Alexis tried taking out her gun but it fell. Paige then noticed a male figure aiming his gun. The aim was good and the victim of the bullet fell to the ground. The bullet had aimed for the heart. Erin was dead. The figure ran toward her and Alexis. The man was Blake. Her eyes finally fell shut.
