The sun had set. Nightfall had started to take it's course. The moonlight shone brightly, lighting up the now wasteland that was the southern part of Redstone. Most of the explosions had already happened. No one seemed to be existing at the time. Most people were dead. According to history the last explosion that was supposed to wipe out the entire city was left. Fortunately for the people back then Redstone had stopped the war and the dawn of peace was felt. Now there wasn't anything or anyone who was going to stop Dukilian's last explosion. The pile of dead bodies in the south was overwhelming. Many had killed each other to reach the gate. Truly the people had embraced the darkness and had turned into monsters. The buildings had mostly been disintegrated. Rocks and bricks lined most of the streets. Water leaks were also visible, water gushing out from the taps that had been destroyed. The water now had a brownish green outline. Some exhaust fumes made their course through the air. The cars that produced them were mostly subdivided into broken parts. Glass pieces were all over the place. The trees had mostly uprooted with most of their parts dark from the burning. The atmosphere was clearly lifeless. What used to be a paradise had turned into a wasteland. The lush green lawns were now a combination of bare soil and burnt grass. The atmosphere screamed chaos. The wall that had the opening that led to gate was mostly intact but a few parts of it were broken. Six people made their way toward the opening heading straight for the gate. They ran. They passed the opening. Just after they had passed the opening they all stopped looking at the gate. They were all short of breath. They looked at each emotionally, giving each other stares of good bye. They were ready to face their fate. They were ready to see the light everyone fears to see. The light that is seen at the end of the journey that is life. They all stared at the gate. They started to run. The gate's defense system activated. The gun like structures became visible. Horror illuminated on their faces but they had accepted their demise. They had accepted that they couldn't get out of that maze. The had triggered all the escape routes. They thought if they wait for the a while before the last explosion that the gate's defense system would be disengaged. That was just mere hope. They saw the weapons prepare to take aim. They were afraid. They looked at each other and then back to the gate. One of them started talking." My name is Paige Sanders. I'm the daughter of David and Claire."
"I'm James."
"And I'm Blake."
"Yes the three of us are their children and Dukilian I know you can hear us. We know the gate has cameras. I know you hate my father and you wanted revenge. Well yeah you got your revenge," the girl said before crying." Well you ruined our lives! You broke us." The guns weren't shooting." You took my parents from me. You destroyed me. Well we don't care anymore. I wanted you to know you're a monster. You're a freaking monster! I hate you! I promise you you'll pay. I know I won't be there to see it but your death won't be pretty."
"Yeah you'll grow up to be an old bitter lifeless man. That's definitely going to happen. My brother and sister aren't even blunt. I'm the one who says bad things and barely flinch. You'll die a merciless death!"
Just after that was said the bullets spiraled into the air. They targeted the six. They started trying to run away. One of the six fell." Lisa!!"
Another fell." James!!!" The others flinched as he fell.
Shortly after they were all down. The blood made a pool around their bodies. They choked for life each and every one of them. They all felt the pain as they slowly were falling into the no return sleep one by one. After a while they were all lifeless on the ground. They had died.
"That is how we die. That is how we're going to fake our deaths. Dukilian wants my brothers and I dead. He'll get his wish."
