"Better." I nodded, "We're better." I assured Cahill when she asked about my marriage, and it really was getting better, little by little.

She slightly nodded, "Good." She spoke softly, "I want you guys to keep talking openly about whatever's on your chest." She advised and I nodded, agreeing with her.

She dismissed me, letting me leave the station for the day.

I went home, tossing my keys on the small table near the door, "Martin?" I quietly hollered throughout our beautiful home.

"Kitchen!" He replied and I sighed as I popped my back before walking back to the kitchen, I slipped my shoes off in the hall.

"Hey, mama." Martin greeted me with a sweet kiss, "Hi." I said giving him a small smile, knowing something was going on with his cute little smirk and sweet kisses.

"What?" He laughed because I gave him a curious look.

"Where's, uh, Danger?" I said slightly shaking my head as he held my waist.

"Trish offered to watch her for the night." He said and I raised my eyebrows, "Oh, really?" I smiled.

He hummed as he slowly kissed my neck, "So," He said pulling his lips away from me, "Meet me at Lexie's house at 8. Sharp." He said and I tilted my head.

"Oh no, did I forget something?" I asked placing my hand on my forehead, he chuckled as he gently took my hand from my face, "You didn't forget a single thing, alright? I planned something special for us, so I got you something, it's sitting on our bed. Get ready, and I'll see you soon, ok?" He said and I chuckled lightly.

"Okay, okay. I'll go along with this mysterious little plan." I said finally agreeing to cooperate.

"Good, I love you." He said before kissing me sweetly, "I love you, too." I said once we broke apart.

His hands slowly slipped from my waist, he lightly bit his lip before he left, I heard the front door close and my curiosity got the best of me as I ran up the stairway, turning into our room.

My lips parted as I found a beautiful white, laced dress laid out on the bed.

I smiled to myself before I read a small, little note that told me how luck he felt to be married to me.

Once I set the note down, I was in tears.

I took a shower before blow drying my hair and curling it and then applying my fancy makeup.

I put on the dress and it hugged my figure perfectly, the back dipping low, revealing my tanned skin.

I checked my phone to see it was already a quarter to eight, I cursed under my breath before grabbing my heels and small bag before locking the door behind me.

I pulled up to Lexie's cute house with the large backyard, I slipped my heels on as I got out of my Jeep.

I followed the noise of quiet chatter, I opened the tall wooden fence, I heard a live band playing quietly as I walked through the gateway.
