Sunlight filtered throughout the forest, creating patches of warmth. Emma and Flynn walked side by side, catching up with everything that had happened so far. "So.. What is the reason for bailing me out of jail, Emma? We probably have a lot of people on our asses now, so tell me while you can." Flynn said to Emma, breaking the awkward, but oddly peaceful silence. Emma just shrugged. "Because I needed help? Or well, because we both needed help?" She replied with a grin. Flynn smiled back, despite his confusion. They continued to walk, until they reached a stream. There was a log on the banks, so the sat there and just.. talked. "So about what we told Silver River's tribe.. How much do you want to bet that they scalped that pesky trio yet?" Emma asked, picking up a rock and skipping it. "I'm not sure.. Lucy always thinks she's such a smart-ass, so they might've not even had a run in with the Natives." Flynn replied in a grumpy voice, getting a rock and throwing it into the water. "Well, I suck at skipping rocks.." Flynn said as his rock sunk in the shallow water. "Since my arrest and before my escape from jail, what has happened with you?" He asked her. "Well, obviously I've been taking care of the Mothership. I went back in time when the pesky Time Team went to get Miss Preston's sister back. My men and I made sure they weren't successful.." Emma replied, showing no emotion whatsoever. "Interesting.. I guess you know what it feels like to be me then? Being Russian and hacking into a time machine nowadays is one thing about me, and then also killing of people in history is another." Flynn said. "I guess so.." She said, chuckling. Flynn smiled back at her, an odd, warm feeling coming over him. A feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. A sensation he longed to have after all the shit he had been through. But it was a feeling he couldn't describe. He rose to his legs, and turned to face Emma. He held out his hand for her. She looked up at him in surprise, then smiled at him. She lay her hand in his, and then stood up beside him. They stood together silently for a few more heartbeats, then Flynn moved closer to Emma. Very quickly and sneakily, he pushed Emma backwards. And right into the stream she fell. "Dammit, Garcia! Help me!" She yelled. He snickered. "I had to! Sorry!" Flynn said, as he jumped into the water right next to Emma. He splashed her playfully. Emma laughed, and splashed him back. He got even more soaked than she did. After they were done acting like kindergarteners, they got out of the water; and thank god it was warm that day, because if it wasn't, they'd probably freeze to death. They walked together through the woods. Now there was one thing left to do: find some historical person and damage history - it was just as simple as that. Emma looked at Flynn. "Companionship, loyalty, and friendship. That's the reason I came for you; I was lonely." She told him. "I guess I'm glad that I'm not the only one with such feelings.. Being a lone wolf is sure tough!" Flynn replied, as they walked off into the distance together.
I hope you guys enjoyed this part and how I made a Flynn/Emma POV. Apparently Garcia,Flynn is a softie after all..? Let me know what you think! Hopefully the next chapter will be out soon! Farvel until next time!
