*3rd person POV*

Wyatt woke up to Rufus and Jiya sitting straight up in their chairs looking at Lucy's room. Denise and Mason joined them. The lighting in the hallway was.. different, more faded.

"Wyatt, come." Daniya's quiet voice said in the distance.

He obeyed, practically jumping to his feet. He got to the entrance of Lucy's room.

"How is she?!" Wyatt asked before a single word came from Daniya's mouth.

Daniya fell to her knees.

"I'M SORRY!!!! I COULDN'T HELP!" She sobbed. Nadja came over and put a hand on Daniya's shoulder.

"Go take a break." She whispered to her friend.

"But.."

"That's an order, Daniya."

Daniya bolted down the hallway, tears spilling from her eyes.

"So.. Wyatt.. I'm.. sorry.."

"Why? Wait.. you're telling me she's.."

Nadja's eyes grew dark, full of grief.

"She's dying Wyatt.. Her 'bullet' wound from last year opened up, she's losing blood. You have a son. Lucy said she wouldn't let go until she saw your face one last time.." Nadja said.

Wyatt brushed by her, slowly walking into the room.

"Lucy..?" He whispered, tears coming.

"Wyatt?" She croaked in response. "You came.." She whispered.

"I would never leave you." He promised.

"Wyatt, I love you more than anything in this world. Raise our son, make him strong and proud. I will never forget you, my soldier..." Lucy continued.

"Okay. What's his name?" Wyatt choked out.

"He is named after an honorable animal who saved us more than once; Luke Logan. That's his name." She finished, handing Wyatt Luke.

Wyatt took Luke from her arms and cradled him as he cried.

"I.. Love.." Lucy began.

"You.." She choked out. Then her eyes flickered a little and shut; forever, for eternity. Some woman appeared over the bed where a limp Lucy lay.

"Come with me, sister." She said.

Wyatt stood there, shocked after the woman faded away. It was Amy!

He handed Luke to Nadja.

"But Mr. Logan! Come back!" She yelled after him.

He ran to Rufus and Jiya.

"I hope you two have an extra room in your house, you have a kid to raise." He hissed at them.

Then he ran away from them.

Jiya and Rufus exchanged glances. Mason and Denise bowed their heads solemnly.

And they all cried.
