Chapter 45

*Flynn's remaining men POV*

They were completely surrounded by the police and hospital staff. Jim recognized Daniya, Tom's sister, and her friend, Nadja.

The police rushed toward them and put them in handcuffs. The hospital staff began examining them and taking their weapons. Mason Industries staff identified the men. They found Emma and Flynn's bodies; and the pregnancy test.

Jim explained everything to the police. To his surprise, he earned their trust and respect, but he'd still be going to jail.

Jim also told them everything about Emma and Flynn, their love, and why the test was there.

And he told the Mason Industries employees that he had screwed up big time.

"You did the right thing, Jim. Same to you, Daniel and John." Daniya said quietly, looking at the bodies of Emma, Flynn, and Tom.

"I guess. But Tom was your brother! How are you not upset, even though is was a... Bitch?" Jim asked her.

She sighed. "Tom was a piece of crap, that's what. He always wanted it his way so.. I'm over him." She told Jim.

"Well, I'm sorry for everything then." Jim said as the cops pushed him and Flynn's remaining men into the police car.

"Bye Jim. Once again, thank you.."

"Bye Daniya. No problem..?"

And then the police drove off into the distance.

Some world we live in, huh?

*Agent Christopher POV*

After I got alerted about Flynn's men and the whole fight that happened and how people ended up dead, I was shocked. I immediately called up everyone and told them it was time for a meeting.

"So as some of you know, Garcia Flynn, Emma Whitmore, a juvenile, and that Russian guy Tom, were killed and-" I explained everything to the time team.

"A juvenile?! How cruel were they?!" Lucy asked, face full of horror. She put a hand on her stomach and narrowed her eyes.

"It was.. The unborn child of Emma and Flynn.." I whispered.

Now everyone was upset, even though we obviously hated them.

"That's horrible!"

"Oh my.."

"Son of a bitch! It should've been me!"

"Since when were they a thing?"

"ENOUGH!" I hollered.

The room was completely silent now.

"Anyways, that means no more missions, since the mothership was destroyed.. Unless if something happens with the lifeboat, but I highly doubt anything will.." I told them calmly.

"But we might not ever see each other again!" Jiya protested.

"Umm, YES, we WILL, Jiya.. We still have to stick together even more than ever before. Times are still dark." I said, my gaze switching to from Jiya to Lucy.

"As I was saying, go live your lives people. But stay in touch." I said. I turned around to Jiya, Rufus, Mason, and Wyatt and winked.

After that happened, everyone got up and left.

Finally, everything was at peace.

But I can never be sure of the future, of course...
