Lucy awoke to feeling an odd sensation of warmth beside her. The last thing she had remembered was seeing the snow and sticking her head outside of the window of the car. After that event from the night before, she recalled nothing else, only everything going black as she fell asleep. It had been a well-earned rest that she had not had in a very long time. She turned to see Wyatt curled around her. At first, she gasped in surprise. But then she looked at his sleeping face. He actually looks cute when he sleeps.. Lucy thought. Wyatt began to stir beside her. He sat up next to her. "Good morning." Lucy said, softly. "Mornin'..." He replied in his cowboy-Texas accent. She smiled at him. He seemed tired. "Did you sleep well?" Wyatt asked. "Yes, I did.. You?" Wyatt grinned. "I guess it makes sense that you slept well.. You slept the whole car ride home! And yes, I was okay with my sleep.." He chuckled. "I will never forget that trip to Kantaa. I couldn't have asked for a better surprise." Lucy said, smiling. Wyatt blushed. "Your welcome, Ma'am." Lucy used to hate being called "Ma'am," but she had recently grown fond of this nickname Wyatt often used for her. She truly was falling for him.. Well, it's about time you realized that, sister! I mean, come on! I knew it the moment I first spotted you and Wyatt talking the first time you met.. I completely agree with everything Jiya thought about you. Not to mention the fact that I was with you guys in Kantaa the WHOLE time! I loved the horses by the way.. Anyways, you guys literally just shared a bed so.. Yeah.. Amy said, even though her voice could no longer be heard, unless if she visited Lucy in a dream. Just please, try to get my soul back on earth before it is too late.. Nothing will happen to me if you don't, but I yearn to return. And want to come back as soon as I can. Please." Amy said as the Lucy and Wyatt talked.

"So, what do you want to do today?" Wyatt asked, after they had finished breakfast. Lucy shrugged. She checked her phone. Her phone was LOADED with text messages from her mother, who said things like,"Come home now; It's nothing to be ashamed of!" or "You'll come around like we all did, Luce.." Yeah.. That crap.. Tears began to well up in her eyes. Wyatt stood up from his seat and walked over to Lucy. He hugged her. "Let it all out Luce.. You can cry. It's okay.." He said. Wyatt kneeled on the ground and stroked her hand. Lucy got down on the ground with him and sobbed in his arms. He felt horrible for her! Rittenhouse, you shall pay for what you have done to my Lucy! Wyatt thought. He wanted to take out every single one of those Rittenhouse b*st*rds and protect Lucy and everyone at Mason Industries. He was absolutely sick of this crap. Wyatt was drawn out his world and back into reality at the sound of Lucy's voice. "You really are a true friend.. Wyatt. And I thank you for that.." She whispered. He ran his hand through her hair. "No problem.. Ma'am." Both of them blushed. Even though it was a chaotic morning, it was a very special one. Both Lucy and Wyatt had grown closer than ever once again. There's clearly a burning spark between the two of them.. Like I said before, and I shall say it again, I will watch them with a close eye. I hope I return to earth one day. But for right now, I shall watch over everyone. And I vow to protect them too. Amy thought as she stood in Wyatt's kitchen watching them embrace each other. I promise. I will be their guardian angel.

Yay! That's it for chapter eight! Hopefully the next part will come sooner or later.. Once again, I'm quite impressed that I've been good about updating! Thank you all for the wonderful feedback and support! It truly inspires me to keep going! I hope you enjoyed, and farvel until next time!
