Chapter 43 ~ Betrayal

"Holy shit.." Emma whispered as she looked down at the pregnancy test. It was positive.

After she and Flynn confessed to each other two weeks before, she had been feeling ill a few days later. Garcia had given her a break from work; he was actually worried that she had gotten a bad illness, since she had NEVER missed out on a mission.

Emma looked out the window and breathed in some fresh air.

Then her gaze switched to staring at the test and then her stomach.

She sighed. "How am I going to tell him?" She whispered to herself.

Then she heard a knock on the door.

Well shit.

Emma hid the test in the coat pocket and answered the door.

"Yes Garcia?" She asked quietly.

"How are you feeling today love?" He asked her.

"Better."

"Great! Now we can go screw with time and-"

"Not so fast, Garcia..." She replied.

"Emma, what's wrong?"

"Look, there's something I have to tell you.."

Flynn nodded. "Tell me." He said, gripping her hand.

She pulled away and faced the window.

"I have no other way to say this so I'm just going to tell you... Wait, I lied; I can tell you in Croatian, Russian, Spanish, English, or whatever the hell you speak."

"Just spit it out. I suck at Spanish by the way!"

"Garcia.. I'm..."

"You're what? Are you too sick to work?"

"No, I'm..."

"I'm... Pregnant..." She whispered.

"What?! That's.. how? Oh god.."

"I'm sorry if you're not happy..."

"Emma.. Are you kidding me?! I'm over joyed!" Flynn replied. He picked up Emma and spinner her around in the air.

"You were never sick, were you?"

"I guess not! We should get to our crew and tell them then.." Emma replied.

Flynn pressed his lips to hers.

"Of course we will." He smiled.

But before they walked out of that back room, something stopped them in their tracks.

A horrible sound; people were arguing and saying nasty things to each other.

And there were gunshots.

"YOU BASTARD TOM!!!! I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS BULLSHIT!" Jim hissed.

"Hell yeah I'm getting away with this! Otto, Jack, David! Come here!" Tom screamed back.

"YEAH, SCREW YOU TOO! I have Emma, Flynn, John, and Daniel. You're outnumbered. Good luck assholes!" Jim replied, getting out his gun.

"I may be older than all of you, BUT I'M DETERMINED TO KICK YOUR ASSES!" Jim finished.

Emma and Flynn busted out of the back room.

"What the hell is this?!" Flynn yelled.

"Oh. Hi Flynn. I see you've come to join us." Tom said with a sinister look on his face.

"What the hell is this?! I demand to know!" Flynn roared.

"Look, we've worked together for.. quite some time but... I think it's time I took control of things around here." Tom said through narrowed eyes. Otto, Jack, and David nodded.

"Yeah, like we're giving into you!" Emma hissed. Flynn grabbed his gun and shielded Emma.

"Well, looks like you're gonna have to! You have 30 seconds!" Tom growled.

"What the hell do you mean?!"

"There may or may not be a bomb from my friends from Russia in here.."

"SCREW YOU!" Flynn screeched and took a shot at him.

He continued shooting until Jim ran over to him.

"Dude! We had no time! Let's get out asses out of here!" He told Flynn as he ran by.

Flynn picked up Emma bridal-style and carried her out the door.

BOOM!!!!!!

The warehouse EXPLODED. Everything was gone, including the mothership.

But not everyone was gone..

Tom and his men emerged from the rubble.

"Be prepared for this bitches!" Jim yelled, making Flynn, Daniel, and John come forward. Emma stayed behind.

Tom and his men ran towards them, shooting and yelling in both English and Russian.

"Emma! RUN!!!!" Flynn yelled.

She hesitated.

"RUN! That's an order!"

Then she ran.

She ran for about two seconds and then tripped and fell.

Tom ran towards her.

Everyone else was battling.

This was living HELL.
