"Figure out what you're fighting for, and then you'll be okay.." Wyatt's words echoed through Lucy's mind as she galloped on the battlefield. She was so nervous as she rode near the river, on Lusa, the horse that she was given to ride. Lusa was a beautiful black mare with a blaze (long white stripe) on her face. Wyatt's horse was Chinook, a buckskin stallion, and Rufus rode Ræv (which means "Fox" in Danish) who was a chestnut gelding. The trio had split up, Lucy riding towards the river, Wyatt in the plains, and Rufus near the forest. The river was what separated the Indian tribes, which is why it was so important to everyone. People from the Shadow Aspen Tribe were quickly  coming over through the water, invading Silver River's land. In the meantime, Lucy was beginning to process everything that was happening in her mind. Flynn and Emma are here because they want to turn these tribes against each other. These two tribes were often allies in battle. And Emma and Flynn want to ruin that, and they already have! That's a huge-ass change in history! Lucy realized as she slowed her speed, after she noticed how fast she was going. She had Lusa skid to a halt, after she took notice of her surroundings. "Dammit.." She whispered to herself; she had gone too far. Grabbing her bow and arrows, Lucy took a deep breath and galloped back to where she came from. As she neared the battlefield, she shot arrows at nearby enemies. Most of the times she missed, but sometimes she was successful. Lucy looked around for Wyatt and Rufus, but they were nowhere to be seen. She was on her own until she found them. You will find me, I promise.. Lucy vowed silently as she shot the arrows.

The roar of the battle rang throughout Wyatt's ears. He hated war, and his PTSD from his previous battles wasn't helping. Wyatt could see Rufus riding around at the edge of the battlefield, but Lucy was nowhere to be seen. Alarm swarmed through Wyatt. Shit! Where is she?! I'm so stupid.. He thought. He lost her! Then he remembered. Lucy was at the river! Shooting more arrows at the enemy tribe, he galloped in full speed towards the river. Chinook was the fastest horse he had ever ridden, and before they knew it, they were right next to the river.

Lucy quickly changed her direction and headed back towards the river. In the distance, she saw someone who was sitting on a buckskin horse with weapons. Lucy snatched her bow and arrow and prepared to shoot. Even though Lucy was trying to make Lusa gallop faster, the horse skidded to a halt and trotted slowly over to the "enemy". The horse knew something that Lucy didn't. Lucy nearly shot Wyatt! "Holy crap! I didn't realize that it was you.. I nearly shot you, Wyatt.." Lucy said quickly. "It's okay, Luce." He replied. "But I thought I lost you!" He continued, his eyes full of concern. "I'm okay!" She reassured him. "Good." He said with a smile. The two of them galloped off together, but they didn't get too far. Before they knew it, they were surrounded by Shadow Aspen warriors. Some were on horseback, others on foot. One of the foot soldiers shot his bow. Lucy felt something stab her side as her dress became soaked. Lusa reared, making Lucy lose her balance. Then everything went black.

"Dammit! Stay with, please! You promised we'd be together.. FOREVER!" Wyatt said, as he carried Lucy while he ran. Rufus returned the horses to Silver River, and then quickly slipped in next to Wyatt. The trio were now heading towards the Lifeboat. Lucy had been struck down by an arrow; it had hit her side, and her dress was soaked in blood. Her breathing was shallow and was getting shallower every heartbeat. Her face was pale, and she was knocked out. The moment they got to the Lifeboat, Wyatt immediately sat down, a drained and nearly lifeless Lucy in his arms. "You good, man?" Rufus asked Wyatt. "No, not really.." He replied. "Okay. We'll be back soon, I promise. She's going to be okay!" Rufus said, activating the Lifeboat. The roar of the Lifeboat made Lucy stir a little bit, filling Wyatt with hope. But then Lucy lay still again, making tears roll down Wyatt's face. Rufus couldn't even bare to turn around to see Lucy. "Fight for me - for us." Wyatt whispered to Lucy. But her only response was heavy breathing.
