Well, well, well.. It's been a while, has it not? Today is the day when Timeless season two premieres on NBC! I'm so happy we saved our show. Oh yeah, you are probably wondering about the name of this chapter. Yeah, there was something in this story that I was.. dumb enough to forget, so as a little renewal celebration, here it is!
Maplefang*Destiny (aka 3rd omniscient) POV*
Sunlight shone through the colorful stained glass of the West Angels Cathedral. It had been a crazy decade together, but Lucy and Wyatt's lives were now complete. Here they were, unexpectedly, surrounded by their friends and family. There were no members of Rittenhouse, and for once, there was not a worry in the air. It was wonderful.
Agent Christopher cradled little Luke Logan in her arms and sat with her wife. Jiya, Daniya, Nadja, and the other nurses walked down the aisle, holding the hands of their groomsmen.
Jiya with Rufus, Nadja with Jake (or whoever that dude was in the Jesse James episode that Jiya distracted to get info on Emma)
and Daniya with Jim, who rebelled against her brother Tom. To many, especially those at Mason Industries, it was weird to see them together, but apparently they were a thing now.
Amy was there too, though no one could see her. She couldn't have been more happier. She blushed as a cute looking girl around her age walked by and took a seat in one of the rows. Willow, Maple, and Sven sat in the back, happy for the friends they had met so long ago; the three of them were so young then, but were full grown now, and independent in California.
Wyatt looked as handsome as ever, standing at the front of the crowd in the cathedral. He was waiting for his bride. His Lucy, not Noah's.
The flower girls, Agent Christopher's daughters, came parading down the aisle, throwing petals. They smiled, happy to be at this event. They got to the end of the aisle and sat down in the front row.
Suddenly, the mood in the room was changed. 'Here Comes the Bride' was now playing on the organ and everyone turned their heads to see Lucy, in a beautiful white, long and silky wedding dress walking down the aisle, holding a bouquet of white roses. Holding her hand was good old Connor Mason, giving her away. Her half brother, Nate (I have no clue what his name is), held her dress up so it wouldn't trip her. Lucy's eyes were shining, as this had been the happiness that she had waited forever to feel. It was the first time, in a long time, that she had been happy. Rittenhouse was actually gone, and with it went all of her worries and troubles. This was the life she'd been waiting for.
Mason handed her over to Wyatt, and walked off with Nate to sit. The priest smiled warmly at him.
"Let's begin." The elderly priest projected his voice, to many people's surprise. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the life and love of Lucy Preston and Wyatt Logan."
The wedding vows were boring, but they went by quickly. Agent Christopher's son came in as the ring bearer.
"Do you, Lucy Preston, take Wyatt Logan here to be your lawfully wedded husband."
Lucy smiled and blushed and said, "I do."
"And do you, Sergeant Logan, take Lucy Preston to be your lawfully wedded wife."
He smiled also and without hesitation, replied with "I do."
The priest grinned. "Well, y'all know what that means." Some chuckled from the crowd. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!"
Lucy and Wyatt leaned towards each other and kissed. It was a magical moment.
The walked back down the aisle and out of the church, going to the reception. And guess where that was?
Kantaa!
Everyone met up in Kantaa, one of the first places Lucy and Wyatt went together many years ago. They went to the Kantaa Brewery, which looked at same as it did. Lucy threw her flower bouquet in the air, and they went through Amy, and were caught by the girl she had seen earlier. Fate was great.
Several toasts were made, and people drank and walked around the town.
Wyatt stood up to make a toast.
"Here's to my lovely wife Lucy. You know, when we met, nearly ten years ago, I never thought we'd be together. Never did it cross my mind that you would be the one to show me the way, give me strength to carry on, but you did. You were always there, saving my ass. You were always so smart and kind, and by the time we were done with Bonnie and Clyde, I knew it was you, would always be you. You showed me how to be open to possibilities, and I was. It took a while because I was a coward, but it happened, as did everything else. I learned it only takes a moment, and that every moment is so precious. We now have a life together, a family together. And I want it to be this way forevermore." Wyatt said. It was obvious he tried to hide his tears.
"Oh, Wyatt.." Lucy hugged her husband. "I couldn't be more happy to have you, and the life we have now, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.."
They pulled in for another kiss, and everyone cheered.
It was a new chapter of time.
It's time now, to sing out,
Though the story never ends,
Let's celebrate, remember a year in the life of friends!Measure your life in love.
So.. did you like it? Comment any thoughts down below! Happy season premiere day (3/11/18)!
