"Where am I..? I don't remember ever being here.." Luke asked me, his gray eyes dark with fear. I looked at him. "I'm so sorry, my friend.. you have died, crossed over to the spirit realm." I told him. "What?! No! I wasn't ready to go! I was waiting for my sibling to come.." Luke wailed, acting like a helpless puppy. "We all still die. Death cannot be stopped. Ever." I told him. "I know that! It just wasn't my time.." He snapped. I sighed. "It wasn't mine either." I grumbled. "Anyways, what the hell was I thinking, running out into the street?" Luke asked me. "Be honest." He added. "You became completely blind, Luke.. Your eyes clouded, and all you saw was darkness. You thought you were heading away from the road but.. You weren't. That's when a car struck, and the dumb ass driver didn't think to stop. But you are safe here with me, and you know that.." I told him. "But I was supposed to keep a promise to you.. To keep your sister, Wyatt, and the child safe! And now they're vulnerable to danger. The danger YOU warned me about!!!!!" Luke growled. "It's okay, Luke.. They'll figure everything out." I told him. He rolled his eyes. "Right." He replied. "Anyways, what now?" Luke asked me. "We will crossover to the spirit realm. You can reunite with your friends and family. But tomorrow, I will rise early and wake you Luke. We are going on an 'adventure'." I replied. "Ok." He said. We walked side by side, towards the light. We will return soon.
