Hey guys, so this is the meeting scene with the Alpha's,  I have spent all evening since I got in at 7 on it, I hope you enjoy it, let me know what you think, and technically I didnt break my promise because I'm submitting before 12 :-)

I stood there staring unblinkingly at them, shock rooting me to the spot, I was startled out of my reverie when I heard someone discretely give a cough, looking up I saw Kade had made his way to my side, when did that happen, and how did I not notice it? stepping back I got a good look at the guys standing in front of me, the small procession had gathered in the front, and I saw that they had more company, each had brought a few of their pack warrior’s and a few had brought their mates. I blushed at the less than stellar greeting I had presented them with wishing I could go back 5 minutes and start again, especially considering that these are the people I would be pitching to soon enough.

“Don’t worry about it sweet’s I’m just that sexy I tend to leave all the girl’s speechless, you’re definitely not the first” I heard someone drawl looking at the speaker, I seemed to snap back into reality, steeling myself against his taunt, I turned my full glare on him, this dufus reminded me way to much of the prat that got carted away by the council “are you sure they’re not just speechless from the whiff of shit you spout every-time you open your mouth?” I asked my tone sickly sweet.

I heard loud guffaw’s coming from the other guys, and a low chuckle from Kade, the guy turned red whilst opening and closing his mouth in quick succession, a close imitation of a fish, I was probably the first female to burst his bubble. Kade had linked Sky whilst I was occupied and I sensed him approaching, alongside Mikey, he wrapped his arm around my waist whilst nodding to all the Alpha’s and indicating for them to follow him, he seemed oblivious to the deathly glares I was getting from ‘sexy guy’. I smirked inwardly, at times like this I saw how far I had truly come, the old me would have been shaking in submission, bending over backwards for approval, but neither I nor Nia would have any of that, somehow this small incident gave me the strength to carry on, and show these Alpha’s exactly what was needed.

We decided that the Alpha’s needed to rest and get settled, depending on the outcome of today they would all be staying over, for how long depended on me. We showed them all to their rooms and saw about getting them something to eat, the pack were just eating theirs as we entered the kitchen, I saw Anna, one of the elder members of the pack, staring slightly lost, she was normally the one who was up and preparing breakfast the older members prided their position and support of the pack, so I’m guessing she wasn’t too thrilled at having nothing to do, I walked over to her and nudged her with my hip, “hey Anna, I know I kind of stole the rug out from underneath you, which breakfast, I’m here to redeem myself, the visiting Alpha’s are just settling and they will need some refreshments and something to eat after their long journey, could you prepare them something, and get some of the younger members of the pack to deliver them?” she smiled in relief, “ don’t worry about it Luna, I will get right on it,” and with that she bustled off into the pantry.

Exiting the kitchen I made my way to Sky’s office, it was the only way to access the meeting room, that up until this point hadn’t been used, most business was conducted in the office, or so I am told, I’d like to think it was true because it was a day for firsts, and maybe the birth of something good would come over a fresh beginning, Sky was sitting behind his desk, I knew he was thinking about what lay ahead, I knew underneath that hard exterior the human part of him was slightly nervous about his first official meeting with other Alphas, I knew he would be fine, besides any faux pas he did make would be overlooked by my attempts towards the Alphas. I went and sat with him in silence both of us lost in our thoughts.
