Chapter 5.

I walked into the office where everyone was waiting, having a quick glance around I walked over and took the seat on the other side of Mikey, feeling someone’s eyes on me the whole way, I looked up and saw Dean staring intensely at me, his gaze deepening with lust “what?” I said to him he seemed to snap out of it then and cleared his throat, he went on to explain about the rogue problem and how several of the females had been taken, my heart broke a little at what might be happening to them and the sorrow of the situation.

Mikey went on to explain about the training and indicated for me to continue “ ok we will be training your pack in groups, the Alpha, beta and high ranking members of the pack will be trained by me, Sky takes the training of the rest of the pack males, while Sonny and Charlie will train the females, just not too closely guys” I said shooting them a knowing glance, what? Their hot and they know it, but we have a job to do and I would rather not have to deal with conflict because of their love em and leave em attitude.

 "This being said training starts at 5 in the morning for a period of 3 hours, then resumes at 5 in the evening until 8, this will continue until we increase the time gradually getting the pack used to the rigorous level of training, I was also thinking” shooting a quick glance at Mikey “ that the kids in the pack should lean some basic self-defence as well not that they will need it but it is better to be safe than sorry, and the control that they learn through their defence will help later on when it comes to controlling their wolves” there were a few murmurs of agreements and a definite look of approval from Mikey.

As the meeting drew to a close I noticed that Kade was looking at me a look of hope in his eyes, before it passed and he left with the rest, I was the last to leave and as I was passing through the threshold I felt someone grasp my arm, knowing that it was Dean from the sparks that erupted and his scent which seemed to envelop me, I turned and looked at him “is there something else you wanted” I said going for aloof.

Dean POV

I’ve been kicking myself since the new pack got here, I didn’t think that I would see Kadie ever again especially after all our treatment of her, and then for her to turn up all these years later, looking so hot and confident was a major turn on for me and my wolf. He growled lowly when he saw how familiar she was with the males in her pack and the guy with the black hair in particular, he didn’t like how close they were, I didn’t either, I might have rejected her before but that was when she was a loser, this Kadie right here was hot, with a banging body and to think she was MINE, and she was mine, something I thought I should remind her of when the meeting had finished.

Taking hold of her arm, I smiled at her flashing that smile that all the girls seemed to love, I was a bit taken aback when it seemed to have no effect on her “ is there something else you wanted” she sound so cold so distant, there was no emotion, my wolf wasn’t happy about that “ I just thought we should talk, I wanted to apologise for everything that the pack and I did to you, and I wanted to ask if maybe we could put it all behind us and move on, maybe start over” I pushed her up against the door and rubbed my arousal against her, but surprisingly it seemed to have no effect “ I drew my nose along her jawline “ you know baby, we could be good together, have a future” just as I finished talking I heard Ashley approaching the office and inwardly groaned this was definitely bad timing.

Kadie POV

I almost laughed outright at his attempts to seduce me, my wolf and I felt nothing but disgust even the sparks that seemed so overwhelming seemed to be diminishing which made the situation seem all the more hilarious, his petty attempts to try and win me over made me angry and my wolf wanted to take over and show him exactly where to stick is proposal, what made the situation even more laughable was the fact that I could sense Ashley was approaching probably looking for her mate.

Tthrusting him off me as hard as I could I saw the look of surprise that flashed across his face, he obviously didn’t think I was capable of defying him, or turning him down which made the next moment all the more sweeter I turned to walk away and got as far as the kitchen when I felt his hand grasp my arm again I spun around as fast as I could and wrenched my arm from his grip, lifting my leg as hard as I could I connected with his little baby maker watching him go down like a sinking ship, my anger was consuming me now, and I lifted him up by his hair grabbing him by his throat and thrusting him hard against the wall so hard that there was a small body imprint, the looks on the pack members faces was comical, I’m sure they didn’t expect someone as tiny as me to be able to take out their almighty alpha.

“I thought that you wouldn’t be dumb enough, to think that everything was alright, and you had the right to even breathe in my presence let alone suggest that I would mate with you, you good for nothing bastard, but to even think that I would let you anywhere near my body is a joke, you are nothing but a petty, small individual who doesn’t deserve this pack let alone me as a Luna, I am not a little girl any more Dean you have no control over me or what I do, you need to stay away from me, because I guarantee if you push me the wrong way I will kill you, and tell your snivelling wimp of a wolf that we both want nothing to do with you, neither of you deserve us, you want a future Dean, look over there” I motioned to Ashley “ that’s your future right there, your mate, your chosen Luna, now who is worthless and pathetic”

The rest of my pack came running into the room trying to figure out what was going on Michael rushed over to me and tried to calm me and my wolf down while Dean was Fighting for his breath, I was actually surprised that no one else was attacking me to protect their Alpha, but realised that Kade had ordered them not to, with one last look of disgust I threw him across the room, he hit the wall with a THUMP and crashed to the floor, there was an annoying squeal that came from Ashley as she rushed over to help him up nearly breaking her neck in her ridiculously high heels.

I turned to exit the kitchen while everyone made an effort to clear out of my way, looks of wariness appeared across their face. “You bitch look what you have done to him, you pathetic little slut” she sneered at me, I took a step towards her and subconsciously she took one back fear flashing across her face “ hmmm coming from the Pack bike that isn’t much of an insult is it?” there were a few muffled laughs and outright laughter from my friends “ your just jealous, you came back and saw that he was mated to me, and you want what you can’t have” I laughed at that “ babe the day I’m jealous of a she wolf whose vagina is so loose the lips reach out and smack her, would be a cold day in hell, I have enough respect for who I am and the position I have got to want to have anything to do with you or that thing you all call an Alpha, anyone who can reject their mate, thus defying a fate given to us by the moon goddess herself is someone unworthy of my respect” and with that I turned and walked off leaving behind a gaping Ashley and a semi-conscious Dean.
