That's how Simon and Sagelyn's relationship went for the next week. They would get wasted, fuck, and then text all day the next day until it repeated. The boys and their significant others were worried, completely aware that they were trying to be close to each other without getting too close.
"When do you leave?" Simon asked as he laid beside her bare body. She turned towards him, her chest covered with his white comforter.
She sighed, looking up at him. "Sunday."
She watched his eyes shift to the other side of the room, knowing he was trying to piece words together. "Why did we do this?" He whispered, confusing Sagelyn. "I'm sorry, Sage, but this is fucked up. We both know we want to be together and all we've done this trip is get drunk, fuck, and repeat."
She sighed, her hand tracing patterns against his ribs. "I know, Simon." Sage whispered before sitting up. "I don't know how to fix it in such a short amount of time." She told him, and he silently agreed.

When Sarah found Sagelyn playing her piano the next day, she knew something was wrong. Mainly from the words she sang. She listened from the next room, her heart full of sadness.
and I said "What's up? what've you've been thinking? 'cause you've been staring at that roof so long, I swear its come alive" and she spoke nine words, and now we're sinking, but I can't find it in myself to want to lie to keep this thing from going down
'cause that guy took my heart and I ain't want it back no, I'm laying down my cards
'cause you said it meant nothing and I should've kept my silence, but I guess I'm too attached, to my own pride, to let you know that all these words meant nothing and I've always been this heartless and we were just having sex no, I would never call it love but, love
oh no, i think I'm catching feelings and I don't know, if this is empathy I feel just hold on, remember why you said this was the last time
so I guess it's let die to let live
and what's good when both choices I've got have us staring down the barrel to the bullets I can't stop and so I stand off, like indecisions kevlar 'till this fear of feeling stops and i'm done, but you
no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you
'cause that guy took my heart, and I ain't want it back, no, a bulletproof restart
oh no, i think I'm catching feelings and I don't know, if this is empathy I feel just hold on, remember why you said this was the last time,
so I guess it's let die to let live no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you no, I don't know how to forget you

Sarah sent an audio clip into the group chat with all of the group except Simon and Sage, getting immediate responses. "Oh, hey. I didn't realize you were back." Sarah jumped lightly, turning around to see the tear stained female. "I hope you don't mind I used your piano."
"Did you write that?" Sage nodded, biting her nail lightly. "It's beautiful, Sage." The elder smiled, thanking her lightly before worming past her into the guest room. "If you need anything, let me know."
"Thanks, Saz."
