Beryl p.o.v

I once again woke up without shifting in my sleep. I still have that feeling of dread in the back of my mind. I roll over and nearly collide with Peter's sleeping form. He looked so at peace it was intoxicating. He looked years younger, like he didn't have a care in the world, he was curled into a loose ball, like a kitten in the sun. I slowly slid out of the bed and walked out of the tent.

"Hey Beryl! Are you going to practice with us today?" Shouted Baelfire, holding up my twin scimitars. I nod and jog up to them. He handed me my swords in their brand-new scabbards they had probably made while I was gone. It was made of soft leather, the edges stitched tightly with vines weaved thick, and intricate designs etched into the sides of a fire-breathing dragon protecting the camp, the flames had been painted somehow to look like a multitude of colors was spewed out in one large blast.

"Did you guys make this for me?" Baelfire nodded.

"Felix made the leather and stitched the edges, Davy carved the design, and I painted the colors, which was really hard without real paint. It's made for you and only you, Peter cast a spell on it so that it would only answer to you and no one else."

"Answer?"

"If you drop your swords anywhere on the island all you have to do is raise your hand and they'll instantly appear in your hand from wherever they might be." Peter's voice made me jump slightly. He chuckled as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Cool! I've never had the need for swords but I'm pretty sure these will come in handy... even if it is only used to beat the Lost Boys in our new game of 'Dead'! Speaking of, who's ready to go?" Peter let go and I stepped forward. All the Boys came at once. I took out half of them in less than 15 minutes. I fought Davy and Felix at the same time, they took turns swinging at me while I blocked and lunged myself. Soon it was down to just me and Bae once again.

"And then there where two." Bae smiled and lunged at my ribs. I blocked with my left sword and swung for his arm with my right. He jumped back out of range and parried my blow. I spun around, swinging my blades as I turned. He blocked both swings and lashed at my legs. I flipped over his head and held a sword to his throat and the other to his back.

"Dead. Bae are you getting slower?" He laughed and stood up. I noticed that everyone had made a full circle around me. I turn around and see Petey holding a longsword and smirking. I smile and enter a fighting stance. He swung the sword with ease and entered his own stance. We circled each other for an opening.

"Having fun?" He asked.

"Loads."

"Lets make this even better. How about a little wager?"

"About?"

"You win, we do whatever you want to do today."

"And if you win?"

"It's a secret."

"Your on!" He smiled and lunged. I blocked and pushed him back then swung for his ribs. He blocked and feigned left then hard lunged to the right. I turn sideways and the blade passes before my face. I turn back and swipe at his arm. He blocked and swung for my knees. I flipped back and prepared for another swing. He smirked and disappeared. I turn in a small circle, ready for him to suddenly appear out of nowhere. I heard the sound of a blade cutting through air behind me and turned in time to block his lunge at my head. This went on for a while, exchanging blows and blocks, sparks flying when our blades meet in the air. Soon we were both covered in sweat and tiring. I saw a opportunity and swung at his open chest I stopped just before my blade made contact and held it there.
