That is so sad to hear.
No one should be verbally abused by anyone, especially if your friend is crying every night because of it. You should definitely convince your friend to tell the person who is being mean to her to stop it. It's unacceptable and should be stopped as soon as possible. Don't forget to listen, support, and be understanding towards your friend. She needs someone to stand by her in times like this when people are dragging her down. If it gets worse, please don't hesitate to tell the school principal, parents, and/or other people that can help. You are such a great friend for caring by the way. It's admirable.
