Chapter 35

Ross' POV

It's been 4 days. No one has heard anything from Natalie. I haven't left my room since the day she left, i haven't stopped crying, I refuse to eat, and I've probably lost a lot of weight.

I miss her so much it hurts. She means the world to me and she left me. She needs to come back so I can get her back. I love her so much, I can't lose her for good.

There's a knock on my door.

"Ross, can I come in?" Rocky asks.

"Whatever."

"Ross you need to get over this. She'll come back." He says sitting on my bed.

"You don't know that. She's probably having so much fun in Ohio right now with all her old friends. I'm the last person she's thinking about."

"You never know. You could be the only one she's been thinking about."

"Doubt it."

"Riker!" Rocky screams.

Riker walks in my room and stands in the doorway.

"What?" He looks annoyed.

"We need to get Ross out of the house." Rocky says standing up.

"Where should we take him?" Riker asks.

"Guys, I know you're trying to help, but I'm not going to be okay until Natalie is home and is back with me." I yell at them.

"Fine. Then stay in here. I'm done trying to help you." Rocky yells walking out of my room.

"Ross, she'll be back" Riker says walking out of my room.

I crawl back into bed and pull the blankets over my head.

"Ross, can I come in?" It's Rydel.

"Sure."

"Natalie just texted me." She says

I sit up and look at her.

"What'd she say?!" I say kinda loudly.

"She's coming home, she'll be back tomorrow afternoon!" She says hugging me.

For the first time in 4 days. I'm happy.

Natalie's POV (the day before Ross' POV)

The girls are coming over and I'm telling them what happened with me and Alex.

They come over around 1:00, and I drag them in my room.

"What's going on?" They all say at the same time.

"I uh.."

"You what?"

"I spent the night at Alex's the night I got back."

"YOU DID WHAT?!" They all scream.

"What exactly did you do?" Maria asks me.

"You didn't, you know?" Emily adds.

I blushed.

"YOU DID!" They all scream.

"What about Ross?" Taylor asks.

"Okay let me explain everything that happened yesterday." I say, "I told Alex that we couldn't be more than friends 'cause I still have feelings for Ross."

"So what are you going to do? Are you going home?" Emily asks.

"I don't know yet. But I'm really thinking about it."

"Do whatever you think is best." Taylor says.

"Yeah. We'll be here for you no matter what you do." Maria says.

"I love you guys!" I say pulling them into a group hug.

We watch a couple movies. It was getting late so the girls called their parents to see if they could sleep over. They all can.

We get ready for bed, put in another movie, and eventually, we fall asleep.

In the morning, I decide I'm going back to Cali. I need Ross. The past 4 days have been horrible without him.

"Morning!" Emily says waking up.

She's the last one up, everyone else has been up for an hour.

"Guys." I say.

"I'm going back to Cali. I'm leaving tomorrow morning."

"I think you made the right choice. You seem miserable without Ross." Taylor says.

Emily and Maria nod their heads in agreement.

They leave around noon, saying our goodbyes.

I head to Alex's house to tell him I'm leaving and to say goodbye.

He answers the door and his face lights up.

"Hey!" He says smiling.

"I'm going back to Cali." I get straight to the point.

"Oh." He looks disappointed.

"Thank you."

"For what?"

"Being there for me when I needed you the most."

"Oh, um, anytime."

"Well I have to go back. Talk to you soon?"

"Yeah. Come inside for a minute."

I go inside and he walks into the kitchen. He finds a piece of paper and pen and writes something down. Then he hands me it.

"Here." He says giving me the paper.

It's his number.

"Thanks. I really have to go. I leave in the morning."

"Oh, okay. Talk to you soon."

I leave and go back to my grandma's house.

Get my stuff packed and text Rydel to tell her what my plan is.

Hey Del! I'm coming home. I should be there in the afternoon sometime. See you soon! ~Nat
