Chapter 53

Natalie's POV

When I wake up in the morning, My heads on Ross's chest and his arm is wrapped around me.

I smile remembering last night.

"Good morning babe." Ross says kissing the top of my head.

"Morning Ross."

We lay there for a few minutes when there was a knock on the door.

"Hey guys! Are you up?" Rocky says.

Me and Ross look at eachother. We get up and quickly put on our clothes that were on the floor.

"Yeah" Ross yells back a few seconds later.

Rocky opens the door.

"You two should probably get ready, Ryland and Katy are almost done packing up the car."

I almost forgot that Ryland and Katy were leaving today.

The three of us go downstairs just as they shut the car door.

Katy's family was over. They wanted to be here when they left.

"Hello Natalie!" Her mom said hugging me.

"Hi. How are you?" I ask.

"I'm doing good. I'm so happy that my little girl is going off to college already." She says tearing up.

"Okay everyone, we're ready to go!" Katy says.

She hugs the Lynch's first, then her mom, dad, and sister, then lastly, me.

"Natalie, I'm going to miss you so much!" She says starting to cry.

I start to cry too.

"You're making me cry." I say, "I'm going to miss you too! You were my first friend here, what am I going to do without you?"

"I'm only a phone call away if you need me." She says.

We hug goodbye.

Ryland comes over to me and hugs me.

"Take care of my brother." He whispers in my ear.

"And you take care of Katy." I whisper back.

Once everyone has said goodbye, they get into the car and leave.

Katy's parents and sister leave, and the rest of us go inside.

Stormie starts crying as soon as she gets into the house.

We all go over to her and hug her.

"I miss him already." She cries.

"Mom, it'll be okay." Riker says comforting her.

After a couple minutes, we all stop hugging and go our separate ways.

I looked in Ryland's room, it's empty.

"It's weird isn't it?" Ross says hugging me from behind.

"Yeah, it is."

We go into Ross' room and lay on his bed.

"What do you wanna do today?" He asks me.

"Whatever you wanna do." I answer.

"There's a carnival in town, wanna go?"

"Sure!"

We get ready, then leave.
