Natalie's POV

An hour later, I wake up to the smell of someone making popcorn. It smells disgusting, and I almost get sick. The smell only gets worse, I get up and run into the bathroom.

"Natalie?" Rydel asks walking into the bathroom.

"Yeah." I answer.

"I'm beginning to think that there's something wrong with you."

"I was just thinking the same thing."

I stand up and we walk into her room.

"I don't think the flu's going around, so it's not that." she says sitting on her bed.

"I don't think so either." I say sitting next to her.

"Have you eaten anything that's tasted different? You could have food poisoning."

"Nope, everything's tasted fine."

"Maybe it's just a 24-hour thing then."

"Maybe. And my stomach doesn't hurt." I stop.

"What?" she asks.

"What's today's date?"

"I'm not sure, why?"

I grab her phone and look at the date.

"Oh no." I say in disbelief.

"What?"

"I'm late."

"Oh my gosh. You could be pregnant." She whispers so no one can hear. "When was the last time you and Ross, um, you know-" she asks kinda embarrassed.

"The day before Ryland and Katy left."

"Then it's possible."

"I'm only 17, I can't be pregnant. What will Ross do? Will he leave me? What if he doesn't want the baby?"

Rydel cuts me off.

"Natalie. Ross loves you. He wouldn't leave you and he would defiantly want the baby. And we don't even know if you're really pregnant, so let's not assume anything until we know for sure."

"I know. I'm just kinda freaking out right now."

"I'm going to go to the store to get you a pregnancy test. I'll be back soon."

When she leaves, I go back into Ross' room and lay back down on the bed.

He starts to move. I look at him and he's awake.

"How long was I asleep for?" he yawns.

"About an hour and a half."

"Oh. So what do you wanna do today?"

"Nothing. Let's just lay here."

"That sounds perfect."

About 10 minutes later, Rydel gets back home.

"Hey Nat! I got some new stuff at the store, wanna come check them out?" she says.

I get up and follow her to her room. She hands me a box and I quietly go into the bathroom.

When I was finished, I went back into Del's room.

"Well?" she asks.

"I don't know yet. I still have to wait a minute."

In that minute, I thought of every possible thing that Ross could say or do if I'm pregnant. I have to stay positive; like Rydel said, he loves me, he wouldn't leave me and he would love the baby.

"Has it been a minute yet?" Rydel says

I look down at the test.

Oh my gosh.

'Positive"

"I'm pregnant."
