Chapter 36

Natalie POV

When I wake up the next morning, I'm really excited to go back to Cali. I get ready to leave and go downstairs. I had to be at the airport in 2 hours.

Juliet and my grandma were already up and were eating.

"I'm going to miss you so much Natalie." Juliet says hugging me.

"Me too. I'm sorry that I didn't spend a lot of time with you when I was here."

"It's okay. I understand, you were going through a hard time and needed your friends more than me."

"I promise I'll make it up to you." I tell her.

"No, it's fine, you don't have to."

"Yes I do."

I eat breakfast and spend my last hour with Juliet. We just talked.

She goes to the same school that she went to before we moved. She tells me that I'm really famous there because I'm dating Ross.

I didn't realize how popular I am because of that. No one really bugs me about it, so I never notice.

When it's time to leave, I gather my things and we go to the airport.

We say goodbye one last time and I get on the plane.

The flight seemed like forever.

Ross' POV

I couldn't sleep last night. I was too excited to see Natalie.

I get ready to go pick her up. She thinks my mom and Rydel are going, so she's going to be surprised when she sees me, at least I hope she will be.

Around noon I go to the airport. I walk around the lobby area. There are a few fans that ask me for my autograph and a picture.

A few minutes later, it's gets really crowded. I look around trying to find Nat.

"Ross!" I hear her yell from a distance.

"Nat!" I yell back

She sees me and runs to me. I meet her half way.

She drops her bag and I hug her.

"I missed you." She whispers.

"I missed you too. I'm so sorry for what happened." I say pulling away from the hug.

"It's okay. Let's just forget the past couple days." She says.

"Sounds good to me. You ready to go home?" I ask.

"Definitely."

I grab her bag for her and we walk to my car.

Natalie's POV

I could tell him what happened with Alex. I know I should be honest with him and tell him, but I just got back, I'm going to wait a while until things get back to normal.

When we get back home, everyone hugs me hello. I'm so glad to be back. I know I was only gone a few weeks, but I missed everyone so much.

I go downstairs and unpack my bag. Ross comes in a few minutes later and closes my door.

"Hey babe."

"Hey." I say back.

He walks over to me and pulls me into a kiss. It's like nothing ever changed between us. It's like fireworks are going off.

We finally pull back a few minutes later. Ross flops down on my bed and watches me unpack.

The rest of the day, we all hang out. We watch some movies, go out to dinner, and go to the beach.

We get home and everyone goes to bed.

"Nat?" Ross asks me.

"Yeah."

"Can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Yes." I say smiling.

He goes upstairs to change and I go in my room and change.

He comes down a minute later.

We crawl into bed and I lay my head on his chest. He puts his arm around me.

We fall asleep almost instantly. I wish we could stay like this forever.
