Eyes

This can be an easy Mary Sue trait, and can be quick to go overboard. Eyes are the window to the soul and can show a lot about your character and what they've been through. I think they're a pretty fun thing to adjust but there is a lot to avoid when creating your character's eye colour. I can't deny that iconic and famous canon Creepypastas have unnatural eyes but still, don't make it super wacky! When designing eyes, you probably will feel temped to go over the top with gold, violet, heterochromic, or cat eyes. Like I said, they represent your character a bit, depending on how you look at it but like everything else in physical design, make it balanced. I'm fine with wacky eyes but balance it out with everything else more basic, or just make them normal. Good Creepypasta characters are realistic and within reason, so make sure they are balanced with the rest of the design. Also, explain why your character has oddly coloured eyes, if they do. I'm a fantasy fanatic, but make it decently realistic and always have a reason for everything.
