Sorry for the late upload! I've been busy.

Physical health is actually quite important to state. In the CP fandom, many people steer sharply towards the mental health and screw with that instead, and whether they do it well or not they usually overlook the physical health as well.

Some Tips For Physical Health

1. Research - Much like psychological ones, physical illnesses require a lot of time to understand thoroughly and properly. Be sure to check your facts when giving your OC any physical illness!

2. Portrayal - A physical illness commonly has either a specific diagnostic criteria or a unique, wide range of effects. Keep the illness simple if you are wary, as portraying a physical illness wrong can be quite offensive and deem you as negative things. There is absolutely nothing wrong with mistakes, it's how we learn! Still be cautious though, don't carelessly throw big words around.

3. Reasoning - Correlation between genetics, mutation, and outcomes are tightly bound and immensely important. A random illness popping up for no reason in your character can happen, but continuously hearing, "It's a mutation! It happens in the real world!" is tiring. Yes, mutations obviously exist, I'm aware of both physical and mental health factors. But constantly using this excuse can deem you as a lazy creator. A physical illness isn't to add spice and flavour to your OC or character, you need to put effort into it and reason it well.

4. Symptoms and Consequences - Giving a Creepypasta OC a syndrome or illness is usually looked down upon, as according to media, "Ooooh they're so strong though they gotta be powerful and mentally f*cked up to be a Creepypasta OC." On many levels, this is wrong. A Creepypasta OC doesn't need to be all mentally ill and sh*t! Calm down! Add some genuine illnesses to your OC, if you choose to do so. And if you do, then make the symptoms realistic. Like I said above, a physical illness isn't something you can slap on then ignore. If you give your OC Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, then maybe they have a walker. If you give your OC asthma, then they'll very likely have asthma attacks, heat/cold/weather/climate sensitivity, low stamina, and/or a subtle fear of overworking themselves. Keep the symptoms genuine, and don't shy away from this touch on your OC.

5. Consideration - So many Creepypasta fans seem to ignore the idea that physical illnesses are common. Just because your OC is a killer, doesn't mean they're gonna be physically strong all the time. And if they're weak, then please realize that you don't have to be weak for no reason. Physical illnesses are really common actually, so many fans ignore this! Chronic bronchitis? Arthritis? Diabetes? It doesn't matter how rare or common the illnesses is, it's still an illness and adding one to your OC shows you can touch into realism some more. Perfection doesn't exist, as it is a flaw in itself. At least I think so.

Whew OK I've ridden for 4-ish hours every day for the past two days (because of a clinic) so that's why this is a day late of an upload. Hope you enjoyed though!
