"What! How could you! I thought you loved me! Why would you do this to me?" I drilled her with comments and questions until I could speak no more.
"Jackson, please listen. I still love...did love you. But that's not the point. I still care for you no matter what, just not like that anymore. I'm sorry."
"I've got to go. Now." I stated with finalization.
"Jackso-" I hung up the phone, not wanting to hear anymore. I sat for a minute going over all the facts that led to this. Maybe she broke up with me because of that one time I missed her birthday. Or maybe the time I couldn't be at her audition for a musical because I went to my grams funeral. I'm not entirely sure, but all I knew was that it was over between me and her. I had to move on.
As I brought myself back into reality, I noticed something. I wasn't alone. Someone was here with me.
