As we were running across the street a while horde of those wretched vile creature came flooding out of the shadows. The girl picked up mass amounts of speed, dragging me with her. I was tripping over my own feet when I about knocked the girl over. She was stopped dead in her tracks by one of the creatures. She whipped out her gun and pointed it at the grueling creature. She pulled the trigger...click... she tried another three times before giving up. She glanced up and saw that the creature was advancing towards her, quickly. She swung her arm hard onto the creatures skull, shattering it into pieces. She ran through the rest of the crowd, pulling me behind her. She was breathing hard, she was working herself too much. I quickly washed away the idea of picking her up, it seemed too soon. Also I'd probably topple over and doom us both. She had let go of my hand without me noticing, which sent me flailing into a wall. She tugged on my shirt, sending me into full alert mode. I darted my eyes down to her face. Her eyes were wide with terror and defeat, tears were welling up at the sides of her eyes. Her chest was heaving up and down from all the running. A small brick wall that was maybe 7 feet tall blocked us from escaping easily from the monstrous creatures. The corpses were closing in fast, we were trapped.
