The Beast was now above me, studying me, wanting me to move so it could snap my arm clean off. The blood drained from my face, leaving me as white as a ghost. My breathing was shallow, my heart beat was ringing in my ears. I couldn't move, I couldn't do anything. I was doomed.
The Beast moved it's face to where it's nose was touching mine. It had white glowing eyes that hurt to look into. A low growl started in the base of its throat, growing louder into a snarl. It's eyes started glowing brighter, brighter than anything I've ever seen. A shiver ran down my spine as I thought if the gory scene that would soon occur.
I made one last final attempt to escape, I grab the knife drawer. I swing it into the beasts side, knocking it over with so much force the beast breaks the cubord beside it. I quickly reach over and grab a knife and stare at the creature. Who has now recovered and is staring at me with intense eyes, poised for attack. "I'm so sorry." I whisper as I lunge the knife into it's skull, splitting it's head in half. The creature slumps down and it's head lands in my lap. I quickly scoot away from the creature and stare, mortified by what I had just done. I stare around the room to make sure I was alone now. As soon as I take a final glimpse at the beast, it's body dissolves into ashes right before my eyes. All that was left from the creature was ash and something else, shiny and beautiful.
