He cocked his head once more, now bearing his teeth. Fear and shock consumed every inch of my body. Every instinct I had was telling me to run. To run and not look back. To get away from the danger confronting me. There was one thing I didnt get, why save someone just to kill them? It didn't make sense to me. Beads of sweat ran down my back, I wanted to run. The rigid pieces of the wall dug into my back, causing pain to course through my body. I couldn't move, I was stuck in between certain death and a wall. They both stood in my way from freedom.
The Beast stuck his snout right next to my ear. Just inches away from my neck. He brought his snout down and bit into the collar of my shirt, just barely touching my skin. He lifted me up with ease. I was still frozen in fear and confusement. If he wanted to kill me why is he taking his time. The Beast lunged his body onto the wall, taking me with him. He dangled me over the edge, close to 9 feet from the ground. The girl looked up at me, shock and astonishment written across her face. The Beast released its grip, and all I felt was the air beneath me.
