I zoom up to Ash as fast as I can and kneel down next to his head, cradling it in my arms as his breathing gradually slows to a stop. Before it all comes to an end, I lean in close to Ash's ear and whisper, "thank you, I love you."
As I'm finishing my memory, reality comes crashing back to where I was, where I didn't want to be.
I was back in the dismal place I call home. Where I have spent 6 years of my life sitting alone, letting my parents pay my bills, letting every single opportunity slip away. I stated solemnly at the ground, searching my own mind for what to do now. Would I ever leave my apartment? Maybe. Would I ever get over my ex-girlfriend cheating on me? No, probably not. Will my favorite tv show ever air again? Most likely not, but I still hope. Finally, after I had been there for about an hour, I realized something. I need food, and once again I forgot to go shopping. Just at the thought of food my stomach started to growl. I reluctantly stood up and dragged my feet to the fridge, whipping the door open. What I saw next was disgusting and foul.
