"Help her!" Summer gasped "please Austin, help!"
He looked at her pleading eyes and grabbed Morgan from her.
He examined her; her whole body seemed to be bruising.
"What happened to her?" He asked.
Bridget spoke up with a quivering voice "T-they wouldn't stop hitting her. S- she screamed and cried, b-but they wouldn't stop."
"Why?" Summer asked
"She started hitting and k-kicking  them when they f-first came in. They said that they were given permission to do whatever it took to b-bring Summer in."
Summer fingered with her nails "And then they began to beat her?"
Bridget nodded and began sobbing again.
"It looks like she was, well, beaten, to death." Austin looked at their faces.
"This is all my fault." Summer whispered. "I shouldn't have ran away. My sister is d-" she took a shaky breath "My sister is dead because of me."
Bridget crawled over to them and sat on Summers lap "What's going on, Summer?" She sniffed   "Why are there bad people here."
"I can't tell you yet, sweetheart," Summer brushed back a strand of hair from her face "all you need to know is that there are bad people everywhere, and sometimes, they hurt good people."
"But us good people are going to stop them." Austin added.
"But, Morgan..." Bridget looked at her lifeless twin.
Summer hugged her close and squeezed her eyes closed, allowing two tears to fall   "Morgan is safe now, Bridg."
"Guys! Are you done checking up there yet?" Connor yelled from downstairs.
"Almost!" Austin replied. He looked at summer, "Do you need a minute?"
She rubbed her red eyes "No," a look of determination crossed her face  "let's go destroy the Sway."

Austin watched Summer lead Bridget from the room. He groaned in frustration.
After everything they had been through, it was all going to end in a minute.
He was about to betray her.
All for his family name.
For his legacy.
His Dads legacy.
Well, what if this wasn't what he wanted? What if he didn't want to hurt innocent people for power? He wanted to do some good in the world, and he wanted Summer to be happy.
Not that I like her. He reminded himself. I dont, well, I do, as a friend. A friend.
Friends don't betray each other.
"Summer, wait!" He yelled.
He dashed down the stairs to the living room where Summer and Ava were talking. Summer's cheeks still glistened from tears.
She spun around "What is it? What's happening?"
"We need to get out of here! They're here for you summer, we need to run." He grabbed her hand and led her to the door.
"Wait a sec." Ava said "I'll grab Connor."
When she turned toward the room where Connor wad, Austin grabbed summer's arms and pulled her in close. "We need to leave, now, without Ava. She's part of it, she told me herself."
"That's ridiculous, Austin" summer stared him in the eye, "She's my best friend"
"It's not as ridiculous as it sounds." Ava said.
Summer and Austin turned to her. Connor was handcuffed and his head drooped. Two burly men supported his weight. One was holding a frightened Bridget.
"What?" Summer ran to get "You're lying, right?"
"Sorry, Sum. That's how life goes sometimes."
"But- but you- we were best friends."
"That's the problem with trusting people. You see, even the devil used to be an angel."
"No!" Summer whispered. "After everything?" Tears formed in her eyes. "This is how it ends?"
"Not without a fight" Austin growled as he charged one of the men. With a well aimed hit in the head, the man knocked Austin unconscious.
Summer gasped as he slumped to the floor. She was the last one standing. She was destined to lose and she knew it.
"You've got me," she raised her hands, defeated, "just do me one thing."
Ava snorted.
"Take care of my sister"
With those words summer fell to her knees. Armored  men came at her from all angles and began to cuff her. She did not resist. This was her choice.
Ava looked at her former best friend, who knelt willingly, accepting her fate.
This was fate, one would rise, one would fall. It felt good to succeed, right?
That's what everyone had told her would happen.
It would feel good to succeed.
But it didn't.
"Agent Hartley?" A man called.
"Mmm?"
"I asked for orders, ma'am."
She shook her head, "yes, yes, right. Take them away. But free the child, take her to a relative. Connor is of no importance, dispose of him how you see fit. Summer and Austin go into confinement until their hearing."
"Yes ma'am"
She looked at summer "I'm sorry, Sum."
Summer smiled sadly, "Oh ava, I wish I could forgive you."
They dragged summer away and Ava was left in an empty home.
A sob rose in her throat and tears burned her eyes.
She gasped for air and struggled to hold her tears in.
It was over.
Her mission was complete.
