Red Eye couldn't believe it at first. He initially thought that he had imagined it or perhaps he saw something different than what had really happened. The train that had stopped in the centre of the bridge began moving again as its steel wheels creaked a little on the slightly rusted track. The tourists went with the movement and class 3-E had stared at each other with an awkward look as if mentally asking what the fuck just happened.
The man with eight years of experience behind him and thirty-five kills to his name with that sniper that had been grabbed by a teenage girl, had made a shot that he had been told by a Military defence officer, himself, would be something along the lines of impossible. This first gun shot was seen as a challenge to Red Eye and he was ready to get straight into it- he was thrilled to know that the students of this class would be luring their target into areas where he could get a clear shot so that they could split the money.
He looked away from his scope when the train disappeared beyond the trees to see the absence of the girl; (Y/N), and he scrambled to his feet to look around immediately. She had her back turned to him as her feet were in the water, going up to her knees as her arms were raised in almost a frightful way when the chilly water kept increasing up her legs, "Wh-where're you goin'?!"
She didn't stop and waved her hair away from her face as it moved mindlessly into her vision while the sunlight was shining down on her, "I'm following the train, obviously."
He deflated and crouched down to detach the scope from the sniper rifle, taking it off of the stand to place it in his black zip-up bag and stood back up as you were just about a quarter into the water, "I came here with my car.."
He noticed you tense, frozen when your head turned sideways to glare and he gulped harshly as he wasn't expecting that at all. Raising your head, your eyes closed automatically when the suns rays hit your face tenderly, groaning out loud as the sound echoed while you were turning around. The water swished around your thighs, the ripples traveling through the clear water while the river flowed continuously, "Why didn't you say so Blue Nose?" A fake smile was planted on the (H/C)-haired girl when you began jumping, skipping to get out of the water when the liquid sprayed on both him and yourself. He flinched and groaned in retaliation, "It's Red Eye!"
"Yeah, sure man. You can tell me about it on the way." Walking past, you kept your chin up and headed back into the bushes where you had assumed this was the path that he had arrived from, "It's this way." By the sound of the voice and the side glance at the direction that his arm was pointing towards, you quickly rerouted her feet to dive over a bush and speed walk straight a head until a small black jeep was spotted on the side of the reserve along a sandy road with nothing but trees and plants in your surroundings.
The car clicked for a second and you knew to pull open the passenger door as you planted yourself upon the semi-clean seat. The car was all dark inside, warming up from having been parked in the light and Red Eye arrived a minute later after placing his drag bag in the back, under the seat when he closed the door silently and stepped towards the drivers door to open it, sit down and hurriedly place the key in the ignition.
Tapping your finger along the edge of the window, you stared with an emotionless face while Red Eye accelerated on the pedal to make a U-turn and head back down the desolate road. The radio wasn't on, you pressed on the button to put the window down as the wind caused your hair to blow back wildly, Red Eye couldn't help looking to his side as the seat that was always empty was now occupied and with a girl to boot.
"So.."
Without an answer or an act of acknowledgement no less, Red Eye coughed to gain your attention though it; again, didn't work, "Why were you sleeping by that tree when I found you?" Without looking away from the scenery as it had unintentionally become something that you realised you felt most content doing nowadays, you contemplated on whether you should open your mouth, wondering if you should tell him the truth or something else. You really couldn't be bothered when your legs were cold from the water, still not dried and you began to feel the effects of not having eaten a proper meal for who knows how long. You weren't sure why this man had come in to this exact spot at this time and so he had most likely been assigned; as not many people knew of the assassination target worth ¥10 billion, by Karasuma who was formerly an Elite Solider in the Air Force.
"I was exploring and I got tired." He wasn't exactly pleased with your answer, not talking for a few seconds when he waited for you to speak again though you didn't, "That doesn't explain how you could shoot like- like that and how you got those bullets, what were they anyway?"
"...Anti-Sensei bullets that take the shape of BB gun pellets, used with airguns which take the appearances of real guns. They break apart Koro-sensei's cells and are able to be used in a variety of ways; from being able to embed them in something to grounding them up into fine powder.
I think they may be a little more useful than your big ass bullets right?"
"R-right.." Red Eye felt his cheeks going pink and he hastily put the window beside him down to cool himself off. He couldn't believe a girl like this was sitting right next to him and you sighed out loud, glancing at him as you were waiting for something, "Well? Are you going to tell me about the origin of this Red Eye stuff or what?"
"Uh right, well-" He smirked and it irked you a little, you had realised that you preferred a look of shock or annoyance upon his face rather than one of content and pride, "I came to like the way I see the blood through my scope, my vision is red - I think it looks nic-.. And I probably sound like a psychopath to you.."
He seemed to inwardly curse at himself as the car made it to the road from the previously sandy natural grounds. He clicked his tongue against the top of his mouth and gripped the steering wheel, "No.. That's not it at all." He felt an odd atmosphere coming over him, developing him in when he noticed the grin upon your face, how your white teeth were visible as they side of your lips pulled upwards.
The time on the radio player read 11:14AM when you were stationed in an area completely unknown as people were walking around stalls and stores. Red Eye had stopped the car as he had gotten out and grabbed his large, black bag. You had looked around slightly paranoid of your surroundings and stepped out of the car to follow the sniper as he trudged though a back way of a building that was dark and abandoned on the inside, "So this is our first date, huh? Afraid to say I'm a little disappointed."
He let out something between a huff and a chuckle as he kept going forward and to a staircase to go up, "Toei Kyoto Studio park, I'm assigned to be here by 11:20 in the morning on the dot."
"Oh~, another opportunity to observe the points in sniping that you are lacking, right~?" You had smirked though it wasn't seen when Red Eye planted himself in the top floor when a tiny window for him to watch Koro. There was a small crowd of teens around him and your eyes lit up at the sight of Okajima and Maehara with Nakamura too. It was a little blurry, perhaps because you were tired and hungry too, "Hey... I'm hungry.."
His sniper was already standing and aimed towards Koro as he watched him, waiting for the right moment with light breathing and a squinted eye. In truth, you didn't want to see them having fun when they watched actors perform stage fighting as a reenactment of a time in ancient Japan. You wanted to be down there but you didn't like the way you looked. Your feet had gone wrinkly from the water earlier as it hadn't been dried right, pale legs and your face was still sunken in a little - the only signs of real life emitting though your two eyes that weren't looking as great today.
You had squinted to see but the growling in your stomach annoyed you now, "Hey... I'm hungry.."
He focused and frowned a little, "I'm concentrating her- HE JUST JOINED IN?!" He was amazed to find that Koro had joined the stage fighting, allowing himself to blend in and avoid being shot at.
A couple of hours later at the Five Story Pagoda, Red Eye was at the top with his sniper, he knew he had to shoot his target to get some of that reward money and now proved to be an amazing chance. Koro was surrounded by a couple of students that weren't as enthusiastic as the other bunch and you recognised them as Kirara, Hara, Terasaka, Muramatsu and Yoshida before you descended back down stairs to find some food for yourself.
Red Eye looked at the teacher then slowly to the students as you had pointed their names out "..Hey.. How do you know their name- WHERE'S MY WALLET?!"

So I already have chapters 28 and 29 written and I know what I'm doing for chapter 30 but I am so sorry I've prolonged the actual Karma x Reader in this book like this is so ridiculous it makes me laugh.
