Not Ready

Tessa's POV
The next day I woke up in my bed and I'm not really sure how I got to my room because I fell asleep on the couch last night. I walked down stairs and Erika had made me some eggs. We ate our breakfast and then I had to go do school since I had been going through a lot and hadn't done much. I did school for a few hours until Jake came home from Disney. When he walked in the door I ran down stairs to give him a hug. I'm not sure why but I really missed him.

Jake: "What was that for? Haha"

Tessa: "I don't know I just missed you I guess"

I kissed him.

Jake: "Oh well I missed you too babe"

He kissed me back. We walked up to my room and closed the door.

Tessa: "How was Disney?"

Jake: "It was okay. I'm better here with you"

He started kissing me. Our simple welcome home kiss turned into a make out session. He took my shirt off and we kept making out. I took his shirt off trying not to break our kiss. He started to take off my pants but I stopped kissing him.

Jake: "What's wrong babe?"

Tessa: "I... I don't know if I'm ready for this after what happened with Lucas. I'm sorry "

Jake: "It's fine babe. We can wait as long as you want"
He started kissing me again.

Tessa: "I'm really sorry Jake I just... I need to stop"

Jake: "Okay babe. What do you want to do then?"

Tessa: "Can we just watch Netflix or something?"

Jake: "Sure babe"

I pulled my laptop off the floor and turned on a movie. We just sat there watching it. I felt kinda bad that I had to stop what we were doing but after what happened with Lucas I think it might be a little soon.

Tessa: "Babe?"

Jake: "Yeah?"

Tessa: "I'm sorry that I had to stop what we were doing"

Jake: "Tessa don't be sorry. You have gone through a lot and you're not ready. I will wait as long as you need to. Because I love you"

Tessa: "I love you too"
