Forgiving

Tessa's POV
I was asleep then I felt someone put their arm around me. I woke up and turned around and it was Jake.

Tessa: "Jake?"

Jake: "Hey Tessa..."

Tessa: "Why are you in here? What are you doing?"

Jake: "I'm sorry for being such a dick Tessa... I never meant for it to hurt yourself"

Tessa: "No Jake, I hurt you first..."

Jake: "But I was being too harsh on you and then you hurt yourself"

Tessa: "No Jake I deserved it"

Jake: "No you didn't Tessa, even though you hurt me you never deserved to hurt yourself... I am okay but you're not"

Tessa: "I'm okay Jake don't worry about me"

Jake: "Did AJ really give you the hickey?"

Tessa: "Yeah... I'm sorry Jake... but it was when you said you wouldn't forgive me so I though I had to get over you but the truth is I can't... I love you so much"

Jake: "I love you too Tessa"

Tessa: "Do you think you will ever forgive me?"

Jake: "I think I might be able to"

Then we both leaned in and started kissing. I pulled away.

Tessa: "Wait what are we doing?"

Jake: "Kissing"

Tessa: "Well yeah I know... but aren't you mad at me?"

Jake: "I was but I didn't realize that it ended up hurting both of us so I decided forgiving you would be better for the both of us"

Tessa: "Wait so you forgive me?"

Jake: "Yes"

Tessa: "Thank you oh my gosh I love you"

Jake: "I love you too"

Tessa: "You do?"

Jake: "Yes... babe"

I grabbed Jake's arm and wrapped it around me. He pulled me close and kissed the top of my head. Then we both fell asleep laying together in my bed.
