Taking care of Her

Tessa's POV
I stormed into my room and slammed the door. I am so tired of Jake not trusting me. He second guesses everything I do. I know I have made some questionable decisions in the past but now he doesn't trust me at all. I heard a knock on my door and I'm really not in the mood to talk to anyone.

Tessa: "Go away! I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone"

Jake: "Tessa please let me in I'm sorry"

Tessa: "I really don't want to hear it Jake"

Jake: "Tessa... can I please come in?"

Tessa: "Ugh... fine"

He opened the door but I just flipped over in my bed and put my head in my pillow. I started to cry. Jake came over and out his hand on my back.

Jake: "I'm sorry Tessa... I just..."

Tessa: "Don't trust me? Yea I noticed"

Jake: "Tessa... it's not like that..."

I flipped over and looked at Jake.

Tessa: "Yes Jake. It's exactly like that"

Jake: "I just wanted to make sure that you knew you weren't pregnant for sure"

Tessa: "Jake I told you I went to urgent care. If I was I would've told you!"

Jake: "I know I'm sorry babe"

Jake grabbed me and pulled me in for a hug. He kissed me on my forehead.

Tessa: "Why don't you trust me?"

Jake: "I do babe..."

Tessa: "No you don't"

Jake: "Why would you think that babe?"

Tessa: "Because you won't let me do anything"

Jake: "I'm just looking out for you Tessa... I have to look out for you because you aren't looking out for yourself"

Tessa: "I am taking care of myself fine Jake"

Jake: "Oh like the time you were cutting your wrists. Or the time you tried to kill yourself. Or the time you were day drinking. Okay Tessa"

Tessa: "I know I have made some bad choices in the past but..."

Jake: "But nothing Tessa. I love you and I don't want to see you hurt yourself. I'm sorry if you feel like I'm being over protective but I just love you too much for anything to happen to you"

Tessa: "Aw babe"

I scooted towards Jake and put my arms around him. I kissed him on his cheek.

Tessa: "I love you Jake"

Jake: "I love you too"

We leaned back so we were laying down on my bed together. It was only like 1 in the afternoon but I still ended up falling asleep on Jake's arms.
