Tessa's POV

I looked up at Jake waiting for an answer. I was really hoping that it was true because he made me feel safe.

Jake: "Yes Tessa. It is true. I love you and I always have"

Tessa: "Why didn't you say anything to me then?"

Jake: "Because, its obvious you like Anthony and I didn't want to make it weird"

I looked right into Jakes eyes.

Tessa: "Jake?"

Jake: "Yea?"

Tessa: "Please don't let go of me. Right now is the only time in a long time I have felt okay"

Jake: "I will never let go Tessa" he said as he kissed me on the top of my head.

Erika's POV

After Tessa went upstairs I just laid on my bed thinking. How could I have not seen that Tessa was this upset? How could I let her hurt herself? I almost lost her. If she got away with it I would never forgive myself. Then I got a text. I went to see who it was from. It was Tessa's mom, Laurie. She said: "How has it been? Is Tessa feeling better?". I know I told Tessa I wouldn't tell her mom yet but she has to know. I don't know what I should do, but I saw Kade walk into the office maybe I will see what he thinks. I walk into the office.

Kade: "Hey Erika"

Erika: "Hey Kade"

Kade: "What's up?"

Erika: "Oh nothing much. Can I ask you something?"

Kade: Yeah sure. What is it?"

Erika: "So, I know Jake told you about the whole Tessa incident last night right?"

Kade: "Yeah, I can't believe she was so upset that she would try to kill herself"

Erika: "I know right, but I talked to Tessa and she told me not to tell her mom. But her mom just texted me and asked how it's going with Tessa. I feel like I should tell her but I don't want to go against what Tessa wants. What do you think I should do?"

Kade: "Oh man. I don't know Erika. I think you should tell her mom she should know."

Erika: "But what if she tries to take Tessa back home?"

Kade: "Well it's really not our decision if she wants to bring Tessa home or not, but she needs to know"

Erika: "You're right Kade thanks. I'm going to go call her"

I walked out of the office into my room and called up Tessa's mom.
