Telling Tessa

Anthony's POV
After I told Jake how I felt about Tessa he stormed away from me. I decided I should go back to the team 10 house and tell Tessa how I feel. I walked back to the house and she was in the kitchen with Erika. I walked in and asked Tessa if we could talk. We walked up to her room and I closed the door.

Tessa: "What's up Tony?"

Anthony: "I need to tell you... how I have been feeling... for a long time now"

Tessa: "Okay?"

Anthony: "Well... ever since I moved in here from Ohio I have loved you"

Tessa: "Tony..."

Anthony: "I know you're dating Jake but I will and always have loved you Tessa"

Tessa: "Tony... I did love you... before Jessa was a thing"

Anthony: "So you could still have feelings for me?"

Tessa: "I'm sorry Tony... but no... I love Jake... he saved me and I love him more than anything"

Anthony: "Tessa the feelings you had couldn't have just gone away"

Tessa: "They didn't... they were replaced by stronger feelings for Jake... I'm sorry Tony... I wish I could say they didn't... but they did... and I just don't love you anymore"

I was so sad I left the room with tears forming in my eyes. I saw Jake standing right outside the door. He listened to the whole thing.

Tessa's POV
Tony left the room and Jake came in. I think he heard it all. I felt so bad.

Tessa: "Did you hear all of that?"

Jake: "Yeah..."

Tessa: "Jake...I'm sorry... but I told him that..."

Jake: "I heard babe... I love you"

He pulled me in for a hug.

Jake: "Did you really love Tony?"

Tessa: "I did when he first got here... but those feeling are gone... I love you and nobody else"

Jake: "I love you too babe"

Jake let go of the hug and walked away. He seemed kind of sad. Did I hurt him by saying that I used to like Anthony?
