Tony's Confession to Jake

Jake's POV
The next morning I woke up and Anthony and I decided to let Tessa and Erika sleep in but we were hungry so we were going to go get breakfast. As we were walking to the cafe I needed to ask Anthony for his opinion.

Jake: "Hey Tony can I ask your opinion on something?"

Anthony: "Yea what is it?"

Jake: "Well it's been a long time that I have been with Tessa and I feel like I should try to step our relationship up"

Anthony: "By doing what?"

Jake: "I don't know"

Anthony: "Well don't do anything like propose"

Jake: "I wasn't going to... wait why?"

Anthony: "You don't wanna move too fast. I mean you almost got her pregnant"

Jake: "Shut up it wasn't my fault the condom had holes"

Anthony: "And I don't know if I could live with the fact of never getting to have her be mine" he mumbled

Jake: "Wait... do you like her?"

Anthony: "Jake... I know she is your girl and all but... I have always loved Tessa. I have always wanted her to be mine. I have always been extremely jealous of Jessa"

Jake: "Anthony bro... I'm so sorry... I didn't know you felt that way... Tessa and I just clicked when I saved her life"

Anthony: "I know and I'm happy for you... but I have and will always love Tessa"

Jake: "Anthony Bro... I'm sorry but she is my girl... and she has been for a while"

I stormed away. I couldn't believe that Anthony felt like that towards Tessa. I love her more than anything and he just confesses his love for her to me? I was the one that saved Tessa's life, not him. I deserve Tessa, not him. I really hope that if he says something to him that she feels the same way I do. If Tessa left me for anyone else I wouldn't be able to live anymore. Our relationship would end the same way it started... with someone trying to commit suicide.
