Chapter 7

Killian's POV

When August came back I was scared of losing Emma my friend and well in a sexual way.... Though he dropped a major bomb on Emma. He is getting married. Though he introduced her to his friend Neal and I didnt like that.

"Ugh." Emma says.

"Whats the matter love?" I ask.

"You." She says.

"What? What did I do?" I ask.

"I dont really know. Maybe you might have scared that guy off yesterday." She says.

"Oh yeah. He was a loser anyway. He stays with August and doesnt have a college education and works for his dad. Thats a loser." I say.

"Killian you need to stop being so possessive of me." She says.

"Possessive? Me? No! Your crazy. Im just trying to protect you thats all." I say.

"Protect me as a friend or as your sexual roommate?" She asks.

"Can I say both?" I question.

She just kicked my shin and walked into her room. Great after a few months of doing this the guys were right. Its all coming apart. Im gonna lose my friend. No I wont. I went to her door and knocked on it.

"Go away Killian." Emma says.

"Please love. Im sorry. Can I come in? We really need to talk." I say.

I opened the door and she was laying on her bed. I laid next next to her and started playing with her hair.

"Okay talk." She says.

"Swan, this isnt working. We cant do it anymore. Its to hard. I think this deal we made has to stop." I say.

"What? Did you find someone else?" She asks.

"No, but you have guys who want to be with you and you cant have me as well. So this has to end Swan. Im sorry." I say.

I placed a small kiss on her head and then I walked out. Stopping this killed me, but its whats best for her. I went back to my room and laid there staring at the ceiling. Then Emma walked into my room and climbed on top of me.

"I dont want this to end." She says and kisses me.

I couldnt help myself I just had to kiss her back. I should have known that this wasnt gonna be easy for us to quit.
