Chapter 40

Emma's POV

3 years ago today I married the love of my life Killian Jones. Things seemed to be perfect. Not only did we have Maverick, but a year ago we had our daughter Lyla.

"Hey Love are you okay?" Killian asks me.

"Yeah why do you ask?" I ask.

"Well you seem distracted. Thats all love." He says.

"Im sorry I just saw something. Killian I have to ask are you happy?" I ask.

"Woah love. Why are you asking that? Are you unhappy?" He asks me.

"No of course not. Im just asking because you have been very distant lately." I say.

"Okay that... Love I have been distant because of this." He says holding up a key.

"Whats this for?" I ask.

"I found a beautiful house outside of the city and I checked everything out. I also bought it. Im sorry I didnt tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise." He says.

"When can we see it?" I ask.

"Today actually. Snow and David will come for the kids and I take you to it." He says.

Once the kids were picked up Killian took me to the house. He was right it was beautiful. A lovely blue house with a cute yard. It was perfect and I loved it. Over the next couple days we moved our family into our new house.

"You are amazing." I say to Killian as he was unpacking the last box.

"I just wanted to do something special for our family. Im glad you liked it." He says.

"Killian I love it and you. I wouldnt want to be with anyone, but you. Thank you for everything." I say.

"Your welcome my love. I wouldnt trade what we have for anything." He says wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Well we started out just you know for Benefits who would have thought this is what would come for it." I say wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I love you Emma." He says.

"I love you too Killian." I say and kissed him.

This was our life together. Two wonderful kids and our very own happy ending. Killian is who I was destined to be with and Im glad I have him. Now and forever.
