Chapter X 9

✧  Hisoka slid his golden orbs to the forestry "I have something to take care of." He said.

I turned my large head to where he was looking, I froze when I realized it was two of Gons friends standing Wide-Eyed with Fear-Stricken faces.

I let out a growl at Hisoka'You have to be kidding me! They are basically children!' I highly disagreed with Hisoka.

Ignoring me Hisoka kept his unwavering eyes on the two new prey "Well? Care to participate, in my little game of examiner?"  ✧

I stood worried for the two of Gons friends as they stared at us with wide eyes.
Hisoka makes his way towards the pair of rigid, Tense and Nervous humans.

In my wolf form, I could hear a hundred times better and therefore could make out the sharp whispers of panic "Leorio, On my signal, We run opposite directions." Kurapika's eyes don't stray from the ever nearing magician. 

"What?" He questioned.

"He is vastly more experienced in real combat. The two of us won't stand a chance against him, especially his... Companions." 

"We cannot afford to squander time in a pointless fight!" Kurapika argued with the stubborn male glancing at him urgently before returning his serious gaze of the bodies that littered the floor and then making their way to my blood stained muzzle, I attempted to hold my head high but I couldn't help but feel a little sad at the fear in Kurapika's eyes stinging my heart for a brief moment before I shook my head and held his gaze with stone cold eyes.

He looked away from me to Hisoka who was getting painfully closer every second, Cards sliding in between index finger and middle finger. 

Just as Hisoka rose his hand in the air to attack with his cards, Three black ruse birds cawed soaring away into the sky leaving only traces of feathers of which Kurapika took as a signal and shouted "Now!"

Both Kurapika and Leorio sprinted in opposite directions, As per planned. Hisoka stopped in his tracks, His lips tugging into a larger smirk then before. He was clearly pleased.

"I see...."

"A wise decision." He hummed.

Squirrel and Badger-Like creatures with long fangs sniffed and prodded at the bodies of men but soon bolted as they caught sight of the giant wolf standing near. 

'Shit. You Baka!' I smelled Leorios strong college almost suffocating me, Sensing him too Hisoka turned "Hmm?"

Leorio comes into the view of Hisoka- Me being able to see through the fog with my piercing yellow eyes-  He approached with closed eyes gripping a thick, Long wooden stick.

"I just can't do it..." He opens his eyes, Filled with the fire of determination and hatred.
"This may not be my fight, But I won't close my eyes and make a break for it!"
