Part Forty-Five
Harry.I finished in the bathroom and now Beth is in there, her soap entering my senses. I fall back onto the bed, nothing but my boxers and jeans on. I close my eyes and smile, feeling content with my current life. I never thought I could love, let alone find a girl capable of being with me. The fact that we are in love makes me just…happy.
I open my eyes and hear a soft humming from the now shower-free sounds of the bathroom. The soft sounds make my heart flutter, the heart beating in that room belonging to me.
Almost a half hour passes, my fingers pulling a white Henley over my head. I look at the bathroom door, the silence making me nervous. I knock on the door, fearing something happened. I don’t know what could happen in a bathroom, but I am just more nervous something will happen to her.
“Beth, you okay?”
“Yeah, I will be out in five minutes.”
I clench my fist to stop myself from opening the door, my eagerness wanting her. “Okay,” I tell my beautiful lover. I back away and grab a black blazer, pulling it onto my body and looking in the mirror on the wall. I honestly don’t know how that incredibly flawless human being became mine. She makes my heart complete but I know I am always going to be broken. I am some fucked up psycho that has a disorder. I made a deal to get Beth for some shitty job, and I can’t afford to screw up again.
I hear the door open and I turn on my heels, my eyes locking in on the immaculate being. Her hair is in loose curls, half of it pulled up. A faint look of make-up is around her eyes, her lips a soft pink. Her legs are defined with the black heels and her pure white skin glows in contrast to the black dress. She smiles at me and I walk to her, taking her hand in mine and looking down into her eyes.
“You took my breath away,” I tell her, a soft blush appearing on her cheeks.
“You are so handsome Harry,” she tells me, my lips curving into a smile. I entwine our fingers together and lead her out of the room, my eyes never leaving her. She’s too beautiful to look away from.

“Styles,” I tell the bouncer, his nod affirming us into the club. I guide Beth in, the loud bass entering out ears. I direct her to the bar and I pull out a seat for her, her little body sitting while I stand around her, blocking her from the sweaty, desperate men in this building.
“What do you want to drink?” I whisper in her ear, her shoulders shrugging.
“Whatever you order for me,” she yells, attempting to let me hear over the loudness.
I call up the bartender and get her some fruity cocktail, whereas I get a gin and tonic. I need to relieve the stress of the blonde brothers attacking my girl. The drinks soon appear in front of us and I hand her drink to her, her lips curving in approval.
“Why did you take me here?” she asks, sipping from her drink.
“I wanted to relax and have a good time with you.”
She nods and looks around, noticing the amounts of sweaty people rubbing on each other. I wrap my arms around her from behind and kiss her cheek. She closes her eyes and leans her head back on my shoulder, laughing as I flutter my eyelashes on her cheeks.
Both of us finish our drinks, talking about tomorrow. She wants to take off so she doesn’t have to see her mom in her ‘hangover’. I agree with her and grip her hand in mine, placing a soft kiss on her lips. I lift her off the stool and lead her to the dance floor, alcohol filling my blood. She turns and wraps an arm behind her and around my neck, swaying her body with whatever music comes on. I wrap my arms protectively around her fragile frame, creating a barrier between us and the rest of the people in the club.
